I felt like they understood what we wanted from the photos of our event I was excited after our initial meeting, but they far exceeded expectations! They were able to capture amazing candid shots without being an intrusive presence. They thoroughly did their prep work and did a walk through with us weeks before the event to plan the staging of shots and become familiar with the venue. All their initial hard work paled to what they both were doing the day of the wedding. They captured the event from set-up to closing with gorgeous images. It is incredible what they captured and great sequencing of shots. Wow, I am blown away by their skill. Both Rich and Tony are very personable and made us feel very comfortable. They are nice guys with amazing photo talent.

Not only were the pictures they took FANTASTIC... but they were super easy to work with. Fun, easy going, and professional are all words I'd use to describe these photographers. If you are looking for great Seattle-based photographers... stop looking and call Vecta. Michelle and I couldn't be happier with our engagement pictures. They took a lot of fun, romantic, and silly shots for us. And they were very open to our ideas and input. In no way were they pushy or hard to work with. Thank you Vecta Photography!

Ron and his staff did an outstanding job in asking us what we wanted and then making sure that everything we wanted captured was indeed captured in a stunning, masterful way. Stephanie and her husband Ryan, of Ahava Studios, were the absolute first vendors I picked. I shopped around and looked at the work of other photographers, but to me their work is - and was, for our event - just perfect. Stephanie is super easy to work with, really communicative and understanding, and just an all-around sweet gal who might make you want to hound her into being friends with you when everything is said and done... or was that just me? I met her husband and associate shooter, Ryan, for the first time at the actual event and I cannot say enough good things about him either. Our final slideshow and gallery were delivered in an incredibly timely manner and even though Stephanie set up an auto-response saying she was on vacation, homegirl STILL answered any question I had via email, at pretty much any time. She has great ideas and is exceptionally talented at catching the little details of your day. I plan to book Stephanie and her associates any time I need a photographer!

How do you start out a review about a photographer who did nothing less than perfection when it…read morecomes to documenting your wedding day? How about this... If you want truly incredible wedding photographs that are not just timeless but artistic, you won't hire anyone but Stephanie at Ahava Studios! I hired Stephanie to shoot our wedding, as well as to do a boudoir shoot a few months before the wedding. I was nervous about doing the shoot in the days leading up to it, after expressing my feelings to Stephanie she seemed to know just what to say to calm me down and reassure me, of I guess myself and how I am documenting one of the most exciting times in my life. I was doing the shoot to have Stephanie create a beautiful photo book of pictures as a gift for my husband on our wedding day. She arrived to the shoot with a bottle with champagne in hand, which not only helped to relax my nerves, but it made the experience feel fancy! What girl doesn't love someone bringing her champagne!? Stephanie made me feel so comfortable during the shoot, and even sent me a couple sneak peaks of pictures that night! The photo book turned out better than I could have imagined, and my husband absolutely loves it. Then for the big day! I think that every bride in the back of their mind is somewhat worried about particular photo ops being missed. I mean there is so much going on at a wedding how can one person be in so many places at once? Stephanie somehow managed to do it, and do it beautifully. There were moments throughout the event (such as right after the ceremony) that I literately thought to myself, I didn't even see our photographer anywhere around, I really really hope that she got shots of this, or that. I honestly don't remember hardly seeing her at all throughout the day. But when we got our pictures, you would have thought she'd been my personal shadow for hours. She captured everything, plus more than we could have hoped for. From everyone getting ready, to guest arriving, the entire ceremony, the reception, us leaving the venue, plus all the family & wedding party pictures. She was like a one woman photography wonder, I really don't know how she did it all. Something that I really want to emphasis, what an artistic eye Stephanie has. She has an eye for the best angles, back drops, props to use. She took the most incredible pictures of all the details, such as our wedding rings, my wedding shoes, our toasting glasses, the cake....so unique. Something that I think turns a lot of people off to a photographer, is the price. You see this number that seems so outrageous to you for pictures, that you just go onto looking for the next photographer who's price seems more, "reasonable". My husband was one of those people. Totally turned off by the price. That is until we got our pictures. Not only were the services provided to us worth every penny that we paid, but after seeing how great everything turned out & how happy we were, we would have paid even more. You really get what you pay for, and Ahava Studios delivers every cent worth. Thank you so much for all the time & effort you put into shooting our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with our photos and look forward to doing more business in the future! Zack & Katrina Wright

He responded promptly to my calls, texts and emails, met with us the evening prior to the wedding to tour the venue and discuss where we would like to do our outside shoots, and asked us to put together a shot list for the wedding party afterwards, as parties can waste a lot of time trying to decide who is in shots. We shot at Anchor Park, Hamilton Viewpoint and the West Seattle Library before heading downtown to shoot at the Pike Place Market and Starbucks. We were going to shoot at the Market after the wedding, but things went so smoothly we had time in the morning. Jeremy was unobtrusive yet got us to feel very comfortable in front of his camera. He had helpful suggestions and his timing was great. He didn't have to use a flash for our wedding, which was in a well-lit living room. It helped that it was a cloudy day to diffuse the sunlight and there are lots of windows in the house. Jeremy got us our edited digital files quickly, and they were astounding. We are so happy with the quality of his work, and he is reasonably priced.
