Kendall took the time to listen to what I wanted, after that she applied her many talents to create images I will treasure for years. We met up to talk about themes and ideas and her excitement is contagious. Even after that, she was always available to answer all my questions; so by the day of the shoot, I was at ease and knew what I was getting into. The shoot was amazing beautiful views, champagne, scrumptious nibbles, expert make up and hair- I felt so pampered! After that I just took her queues and had a blast! The time flew by and the shots she showed me were amazing, I didn't know I could photograph like that! A few weeks later, we met up to go over the images and she showed me how to use the private online gallery to view, share, and order additional prints. The photos are beautiful and sexy, I have a gift for my husband and a keepsake for myself. I cannot thank Kendall enough and will definitely be back next year!

If you are looking for a photographer who perfectly balances artistic talent with incredible organizational skills, I cannot recommend her enough. Anna's communication is top-tier. We began coordinating months in advance, and she was proactive every step of the way. She acted as much more than just a photographer; she was essentially a creative director. She curated various styles and locations to help me find the perfect vision, assisted with dress selection, and even organized hair and makeup. During a busy and stressful time, having Anna manage the logistics and timelines was a huge relief. During the session, she made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, which truly reflected in the final images. The photos turned out exactly as I had envisioned -- actually, they were even better. Anna has a gift for capturing the moment perfectly. We were so impressed with the entire process that we have already booked our newborn session with her!

Joanna Monger was recommended to us by our venue's owner, Sharon. Upon viewing her portfolio, I was…read moremesmerized by the authenticity that was captured in her photography; they featured genuine, beautiful moments. They looked like lovely pictures of real, happy people - not overly-processed and cinematic. This is exactly the type of style I wanted for our micro-wedding. I generally dislike having my photo taken, and I'm notorious among my friends and family for refusing to be photographed during events. In spite of that, naturally I expected to endure many pictures on my wedding day. Even with my reservations, it all passed so quickly and easily! No feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, frustration, or impatience. To begin with, we had a Zoom call to serve as our introduction. My distaste for being seen digitally extends to video chats, but Joanna immediately helped put me at ease. She is an expert in her field and specializes in people who are less comfortable with having their photo taken. She offered logistical support in planning our day, as well as the emotional support that comes with having an ally who can understand your position and work with you. She is so kind and personable, which is perfect for those of us who are a little more on the timid side. In terms of the day of, she was already at the venue well before the rest of us arrived. In between taking some get-ready shots, she even helped my family member get into a very tight-fitting dress. I genuinely don't know if we could have wrangled that zipper up without Joanna's help! After that, she gave a brief lesson to my person-of-honor, showing how to properly fluff out my dress's long train behind me. Additionally, I noticed she was skilled with remembering the names of our close family and wedding-party members. Joanna is so organized and swift with her camera. Despite beginning our ceremony a little later than scheduled, she managed to shoot every photo we wanted within our tight timeframe of just two hours - with a few minutes to spare, too! She's also great at giving clear direction to help improve positioning and posing. And it all flew by so fast. She had our photos ready with astonishing speed (just one week later!), and they were just as wonderful as I had hoped! These are exactly what I wished our wedding pictures would look like. I'm so happy with the variety of different shots Joanna managed to capture, and I'm in disbelief of how well they turned out. I couldn't be happier with the service she provided to us on our special day. I would highly recommend her to anybody, but especially to others who might be less confident in front of the camera.

All their initial hard work paled to what they both were doing the day of the wedding. They captured the event from set-up to closing with gorgeous images. (Living dangerously!!) I was pretty nervous given the control I relinquished, and given that we chose our photography based primarily on budget. I cannot express how impressed we were with her level of polite and gracious control getting everyone in place and making sure my position and stance was right to make me look as flattering as possible. (I'm on the plus-size side of things.) She was early to the venue and calm as a cucumber. I needed that since it is incredibly difficult to remain calm and in the moment on your wedding with total chaos ensuing around you. And that's just her behavior and demeanor... but the pictures!! The photos came back within 72 hours of the event, and were beyond fantastic. She got all the shots we wanted, and did a great job capturing spontaneous moments, and sweet details of the reception and decor. When I had the opportunity to point out important people to her, she did her best to get extra candids of those people, while simultaneously considering lighting and contrast and composition. (I also cut corners by choosing to do my own editing--art school nerd-- but many of the images don't even need it!!) Some of the other things we splurged on for the wedding were a disappointment. Melissa was a budget choice that satisfied as if we had broken the bank!!! Book her while you can, because she'll soon find she can charge whatever she wants. Thank you, Melissa!!
