One star deducted because it appears to be a $5 pp flat rate, which is slightly expensive considering it was only 0.5 miles.

Every year my husband and I attend a charity pub crawl in downtown McHenry, in the past we have always had rides but this year we needed to make other arrangements. We called McHenry Cab Co. for a drop off & a pick up. The level of customer service that this suburban cab company provided surpassed every single cab and/or private car service that I have ever used, and I have used A LOT. The driver was on time for pick up, he was very attentive to our evening plans wanting to make sure that he knew all of the information so he could pick us up appropriately. His cab was clean and smelled nice. His driving was exceptional and not abrasive at all. He was very personable in his conversation with us as passengers. When 1am came around we were where we were supposed to be and so was he, fielding off other pub crawlers trying to get into his cab. Telling them he was very sorry but already had passengers scheduled to be taken home, offered them one of his co-workers numbers. The ride home was just as pleasant as the ride there. I can honestly say that this company and this driver provide 100% customer service. When people book cab or car companies they are relying on that driver to be there and get them home safely and Felix, with McHenry Cab Co. did just that!
