When I returned to the shop to address these concerns, staff members made me feel as though I was being dishonest about having been there, despite the fact that I have a receipt and the charge appears on my bank statement. This was extremely frustrating and inappropriate. Additionally, a mechanic told me to check the tire "with my hands" to see if it felt tight enough. I found this comment unprofessional and unsafe, as I am not a trained mechanic and should not be expected to assess wheel safety myself. After the second visit, I now feel that the tire may actually be too loose, which raises serious concerns about my safety while driving. This entire experience left me feeling dismissed, uncomfortable, and worried about the condition of my vehicle.
