First, the appearance. Not only is it old it doesn't seem that they care much to keep it clean.... Food is ok at best, after all its pizza and even when its bad its still good. I've been there a few times with my wife and kids (usually for Team Parties) and the sandwiches are average, the salad was ok. The portions are good size though so I'll give them that. Service is horrible. Always feel rushed to order. Our order always comes out separate instead of all at once. They call your number (after a long wait), barely audible. They always seem to forget the drinks or bread sticks or something. We were there for our kids soccer team party so they understandably packed. With that being said, they way over booked themselves (we all had reservations). Even with them putting out dirty white folding tables there wasn't enough seats and it was very crowded for us standing around trying to let the kids have a good time. Tables were jammed together and it was obviously a major fire hazard. Couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough. Next time there is a team party there (thankfully it doesn't happen often), we're just not going to attend and will make arrangements to pick up the trophy at another time. read more

This is one of the nastiest pizza joints I've ever been to. For starters I ordered a tower of modelo and when they called me up there was no base for the tower ( the spout was almost hitting the table), the beer wasn't cold, I got charged for a premium, and to top it off, the "modelo" I ordered wasn't a modelo. This tasted like watered down bud light. How much more can you water bud light?! The service here is a JOKE. The girl that was working here behind the counter was making a sub and didn't use gloves. I normally have rave reviews for Crusty's, especially their thin crust (which I always forget to ask for), but today was unacceptable. I placed an order over the phone, was informed it would be 15mins. I waited 10 mins and left to pick it up, so 15min later I am there.... Except they haven't even started making the pizza, let a lone cook it, until I asked about it! So it took twice as long to get my pizza. The food here is good, but the customer service is slacking more and more everyday- I hope this gets address, or I will find another pizza joint. read more

When you find the little hole in the wall places, you often have a certain expectation. Because it wasn't a chain, I had pretty high expectations for Crusty's pizza in Norco. I wasn't disappointed. The pizza was fresh, hot, and a pretty good quality. The beer was cold and the place had a certain laid-back atmosphere. Oh look! Another unimaginative pizza place that doesn't even bother to try harder because there's little to no competition in the area! Figures, Norco. I hate these local mom'n pop places that open up and they just don't bother pop up above the radar. Oh, I'm sure there are locals who have gone here for years and like it just fine. Well, considering how fast Norco is growing and the number of businesses that'll surely be plaguing this sleepy little town, we'll see just how fair the free market treats the average. I've ordered pizza here twice. Twice because I thought the first time was just off. If it's mediocre twice, I know it's not worth it. The pizza here is the same tried and tired story that I've repeated on other reviews. A pizza that is pseudo-hand tossed and feels like it has a nice crisp baked crust when you pick it up, but it chews up in one gummy, uniform and forgettable bite. Salty and gooey cheese that turns plasticky when cooled slightly. Toppings that are probably from the same mega vendors and suppliers that probably supply their dough flour. Need I go on? I do remember this place being below par though, even for a run-of-the-mill pizza parlor. 2/5. I didn't factor in the value, but their prices are average and nothing deal worthy. I guess this place is an acceptable choice if you're passing by the area and need to pick up a pizza in a pinch. For delivery, I wouldn't recommend it all, it's slow and pricey. 1/5 for that, but It's not in the rating. read more

I came here last week when I was in the area. At first I was a little worried by the looks of it and some of the reviews on here. But I got the pizza with pepperoni, and extra sauce and it was really good. That's all I got so I can't speak on the other food but a good pizza to me is, crispy crust on the outside and soft on the inside, no excess oil, and a good red sauce. When the driver showed up the guy started laughing when he opened the pizza holder . The pizza box was basically folded like a taco. The pizza stuck to the top of the box . Stumbled upon this place because my class was meeting up here. I'm a big pizza fan and this place doesn't look like much on the outside (not to say the inside blew away either) but the food was great. Pizza was well topped and crust was nice and Crusty :] They have an area with a few machines to keep the youngsters entertained. I'm new to this area and when I first tried Crustys I was so happy with the hot pastrami sandwich and the Italian sausage with peppers sandwich. They were really good. It is out of the way but I have been back a few times and it was wonderful. Tonight was a sadly different story. The service was as always very good with happy helpful staff but there was hardly any pastrami on the sandwich. I live too far away to take it back and I'm not sure if I will try again. read more

This place sucks. They filled up our tower with Budweiser when I asked for modelo. I came in with another girl whom which they probably thought we wouldn't tell the difference. The towers had no bases, so we had to lean the tower off the table to pour beer. The cups stank. And the pizza was mediocre. I for sure won't be coming back. read more

Crusty's is my favorite go to spot for great pizza for a cheap price. The employees are always very helpful and make sure i have everything i want. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly also. All there video games were old school popular ones which is awesome. they also have quite a few tvs going so you dont have to watch only one thing. For anyone who Likes pizza i would highly recommend this place. I am a big fan of there mozzerella cheese sticks but a bigger fan of there white sauce pizza. Its delicious!!!!! I walked in and it was not too busy. I had a hard time ordering because the 4 older men behind the counter kept walking back and fourth, not even acknowledging me. Finally one of them came up to take my order, like I was hassling him. He appeared to be in charge because for the next 45 minutes I was in there I heard him yelling at the other guys. When I asked the same guy for my drink, I think I started bothering him again, because he mumbled under his breath gruntingly. When I got my pie, it looked big. I asked if that's was normal? The same guy said someone messed up and they must like me (with a disgusted look on his face). I enjoyed the pie. I got up in the middle of eating to refill my drink and when I got back to my seat, the same guy had pushed my seat in and was standing watching tv right where I was sitting. I said excuse me loudly right behind him, he grunted and moved over with no acknowledgment of what he did. He should hire someone with people skills. So this review is solely based on the horrible customer service I received today. The food here is average, they do have good specials, but with all the pizza places In Town I would think most business' would like to stand apart with good customer service and people skills. I called to order pizza to pick up. The young man that answered the phone right away asked me to hold, and I said yes. Instead of putting me on hold he put the phone down and I proceeded to hear a five minute conversation between him and his co worker which wasn't pizza related . I hung up the phone called back, and the same guy picked up. Right away asked if I could be put on hold , I said " you had me on hold for five minutes I heard your whole conversation while waiting to order pizza." They misspelled fettuccine (should have been my first clue not to eat there) on their signs strung up outside and posted inside. I ordered an eggplant parm sub (my fav) and Kyla (my wife) ordered a medium cheese pizza (which we snacked on for the trip up to Mesquite). The pizza was mediocre. The sub would have actually been decent except for one thing: someone thought it would be a great idea to put piles of garlic salt all over the sandwich. Look...if you want a garlic flavor, use garlic. It's cheap...but by no means should anyone ever use garlic salt in anything...if you HAVE to use it, put it in a sauce or something where it can mix in and be evenly distributed. By applying it to a sandwich before throwing in the sauce and eggplant I just got these huge pockets full of awful garlic and salt. I was burping garlic salt flavor up the rest of the day. Yuck. Either use real garlic or don't use anything at all. read more

This place has awesome food! AND 2 huge screens where I can watch the games! They have a big menu but I usually order the Crusty's special supreme and wings (order them well done, they seem to be better that way). Salads and pastas are great too, I like their chicken fettuccine. Services is great, been going there forever now. It gets pretty busy as some other reviews stated, but I've never had to wait a tremendous amount of time. Give them a try. Oh yeah, their ranch is the best I've tasted, and when I asked them what brand they use one of the guys said its homemade with real buttermilk. I guess it's a family recipe. Good stuff!! read more

I stopped by Crusty's one night after work to get take out. People, beware this place!! I ordered spaghetti and sausage. I watched them prep the meal and was appalled! Everything was microwaved and the sanitary measures were not that good. I was tired and in a hurry so I took my meal and went home, hoping for the best. That food was horrible! The pasta was overlooked and swollen, like it sat in water for hours. It was tasteless and watery. The sauce was not tasty at all. The worst part was the sausage. Very hard, dry, not much taste. Like it had been cooked via microwave, then reheated via microwave. Maybe the pizza is good, I do not know, but don't order any pasta, sauce, or sausage!! If you order anything except pizza, expect bland, terrible microwaved food. Never again. One star is too good a rating. Not to mention, the staff was not friendly in the least and the place was empty. read more

Used a $15 restaurant.com cert here. I've ate here before during lunch. Their lunch specials are ok. $6.95 gets you a salad and a personal pizza and a drink. Seems pretty decent. The $15 cert had a minimum purchase of $22.50 so I had to see what to order on the menu to get the most out of the discount. Was told that I can only order regular priced items so can't get any of the 2-Pizza deals. In the end I ordered a two topping deep dish 16" pizza and added an order of garlic bread which made the total around $23 + tax. The pizza crusty was really tough like it was over baked unlike their small personal pan pizza. Garlic bread was okay. Service speed was decent around late afternoon. The restaurant cert cost me $3 so based on total including a $2 tip, I spent $14 on the pizza and garlic bread. I think on the 2-Pizza menu, there's like two large for $18 so only saved a couple of bucks versus their special. read more

This place reminds me of the old fashioned pizza places when you were a kid. This is not a chain it is privately owned and it does need some work I will admit. The trouble with today when we do not have those baring signs and music and soft cushy seats we automatically interpret it as bad food. I came here expecting bad food I will admit and was surprised when the pizza I ordered was dynamite, not too greasy, nice balance of cheese and sauce kind of an old fashioned divy feel to it. Still do not know why there is 2 Flat screen TV's right next to each other playing different channels ..To each is own I assume but since this is about the over all experience I can say the food is good. The place needs work and the staff could use some Zoloft. :) But lets face it in this area there is not much choice for good pizza and this is a pizza place and the crust tastes good, the pizza is good. Many places in Norco have this feel so I do not want it to effect the stars. If you want good pizza and nice feel with an interesting staff this place is for you! The pizza here is top notch, the best item served here. The pizzas are very cheesy and fluffy, with an amazing taste to boot. It is a bit greasy (but in a delicious way, and not too much). The prices are reasonable. I personally like the tomato pizza which has healthy slices of fresh tomatoes. Great place to go just to grub! It's pretty chill as well, with a sports vibe, the perfect place to dine out in after school with friends. The staff is very nice as well. read more
