Went in today to give this place a try. After ordering we noticed the the loud cook in back,(maybe the manager)? He yelled nearly the entire time we were there. Dropping F bombs, talking about weed and dispensaries. We had our two young kids there, as did other families, this didn't seem to matter to the employees. The delivery driver was covered in disgusting hickeys, and the inside was dated. Our pizza was supposed to be a pepperoni lovers, ended up having less pepperoni than a regular pizza from anywhere else. We had an expired coupon but we're in town and called and asked the manager if it was okay to use it. Not only did he say of course we will honor it we would love to show you how great our food is seeing you've never been here before. I came in was treated like a king. The food was delicious, fast, and Fresh. The staff was very friendly. The Ambiance is great for kids and any sports Enthusiast that wants to watch a game on their 80 inch TV or maybe it's a 90. When I lived in Norco I would get Pizza here every 4 months or so. Mainly because there aren't many places to choose from, and I don't go to most chain pizza places because they do not have Anchovies. So I am more or less forced to go here. Pizza is one of those things that no matter how bad it is, it's still pizza so it can't be that horrible. This is a belief that I imported when I moved here from Michigan. After living in California more than a few years I can add Burrito to that list. That in mind, you have to go out of you way to mess up either. Crusty's manages to do this. There is little to no consistency in their pizza. It's either overcooked, or under cooked, and on rare occasion cooked perfectly. That is one of the reasons I kept going back. The other was the price. It is cheap in comparison to the big chains. That alone gets them that second star. What bothers me most about the place is the shitty customer service. Most of the girls working the cash register are nice enough, but the older gentleman running the ovens isn't so much. My last visit I ordered my regular Small with Anchovies, was told it would be 30 minutes and was hung up on. Which is the norm at this place. So I go to pick it up, and am told. Oh yeah were out of Anchovies. I asked why they didn't call back to tell me, and he said: "Well, maybe you should have left a phone number." Pretty rude thing to say to a customer, especially when it's you that made the mistake of not asking. So he offers me 50 cents off my order for the mistake. Which is less than one item costs. I refused, and he suggests "You want me to through some tuna on it?" laughing like he's Captain Funny. Yeah......that's why you didn't get my $10 bucks that day and won't again. read more

Hate to do this bc I'm all for supporting a family business and the pizza is good. They need to post correct hours online and explain to people that at any time they aren't busy, they close early. Called 1.5 hours prior to their closing time to make sure they were open until 8:30 on that specific day. Started calling at 7:58 - already closed. Can't get off work sooner and can't feed my family on a "maybe" that they're open. Would often go here during my lunch with co-workers on Tuesday, since they have decent specials that day. Like another review on here, pizza is pizza so it cant always be too bad. The taste is decent, not great, but not the worst. The salads are nothing special, lettuce with ham and some ranch. The place lacks the restaurant feeling, it looks old and needs some sort of remodeling. Now as far as customer service goes....not the best. Some people are rude and give you an attitude if you let them know they got the order wrong (which happens often). I don't know what everyone is so critical of. It's better than Domino's or Pizza hut. I've lived in Norco for a WEEK, I'm a food nut (quality ingredients, not fast food) and I've been VERY happy. Their wings need some serious work, but of the 6 pizzas 5 were fantastic and one was just ok, but still wasn't bad. I don't eat out this much normally, we cook 6 of 7 days a week, yet with moving Crusty's has been a lifesaver. Don't be put off by these overly critical people. This is good pizza! They even make a pretty damn good antipasto salad! I just wish they would step that up to a romaine lettuce, but that's pretty rare no matter what. My wife and I come here all the time for the pizza. It's good and a cheap date. Only problem is, the place is usually pretty dirty (or just has that appearance), there's kids running around constantly, and it's not in the nicest area of town. This was our first visit so we didn't know what to expect. As other reviewers mentioned, it's definitely "dive-y" and in desperate need of a makeover (or least matching chairs!) Add a trash can and put away the dirty mops! CONS: A tip jar on the counter, but you take a number to pick up your own order. Huh? A lot of the food is microwaved to be super hot so be careful with kids. Our potato wedges were blistering hot, but the mozzarella sticks were lukewarm with non-melted cheese. Would somebody PLEASE get the typos out of the menu! I gave up after counting 10+. Hard to believe that between the typist, manager, owner, printer and website developer that no one noticed a zillion typos. Some pizza places are OK for a casual date -- this isn't one of them. PROS: Very friendly staff who tried hard to accommodate our special requests and timing (some food was for "now" and some for take-out). Their thin crust is perfect and reheated well the next day without getting super sonic hard in the microwave. There wasn't much sauce (fine with us) plus lots of toppings. We got the Crusty Special and a Mushroom & Olive. Everyone loved the pizza and since that's why we were there -- two thumbs up. Yes, very generous portions! It's a shame they don't redecorate. It could be such a cute "neighborhood" place. You can tell it's the kind of place where the locals come once a week, but they would get lots of newbies to come back regularly. You're given a number that they'll call when your order is ready. Not too keen on that idea for a restaurant, but they brought us our order without asking so we can't complain.
