It's always nice to find a good local supplier that means you can bypass the supermarket and grab something freshly and locally made with good quality ingredients. The quality of food and staff here are great. I often roll in here on my way to visit friends who live in cradley after I've caught the train to town. The inside is large and has a mix of comfy sofas and traditional cafe tables and chairs. The whole place is well lit and furnished with cream and warm colours that instantly let's you forget you actually in the middle if a dead town. The jacket potatoes are crispy and the chili filling was some of the best chili I've ever had. I've been there a few times for breakfast and it's always been great with generous helpings of everything on the menu. The prices are the best part, a whole breakfast you could pay up to £7.00 in a city for is around £4.00. The charge a little more of you choose to eat n but it's still seriously under what you'd expect to pay to begin with. All in all a great cafe and cradley needs more businesses like this.

They seemed genuinely happy you were there and eager to make sure you were happy with your stay. We ordered the sausage rolls and a Cornish pastry and they were very good. I'm not particularly fond of the chocolate numbers myself, if I'm tempted, I go for the rhubarb and cherry slices (super moist), and things like the Belgian buns are pretty snazzy too. A couple of things worth noting are- They have a slicing machine- so if there's any loaves you want, but are only capable of cutting diagonal doorsteps at home, they can deal with it. If you want a hot sausage or bacon sandwich for example, you're possibly going to have a little wait as they like to cook things fresh. If you ring in advance, you can avoid standing in the corner by the fridge of drinks for a short while.

So I was taken back to my childhood when I paid a recent visit to this corner tea room. The former flower shop has been transformed into a beautiful tea shop with a fabulous range on offer. Let's start with cakes! Scones with jam and thick cream, chocolate fudge cake, served as it come or hot. Lemon drizzle, carrot cake, Mmm ok let's move on! They do a great breakfast, sandwiches, light lunches oh and being a tea shop there is a wide selection of teas of course.
