I didn't even know that Crush is 100% vegan. That's what I learned browsing around for more information about this really cool, 'good vibes' place.
I walked by here frequently, always being sort of jealous of all the beautiful coffees and baked goods people were enjoying while sitting outside. I knew I had to try this place one day.
Finally, when I saw everyone eating 'jagodzianki', I thought: "that's it! I want one of these!", and bought two to go.
'Jagodzianka' is a seasonal semi-sweet yeasted bun. Ideally, it should be generously stuffed with wild blueberries and covered with crumbly butter, sugar, and flour mixture.
Let me tell you, this pastry was huge! I shared one and it was plenty to satisfy my appetite. Was it really vegan? I had no idea purchasing my treat, that Crush doesn't use animal products.
Oh! It was so delicious! I can't stop thinking how delightful and tasty it was. The blueberries weren't overly sweet, and the dough was soft and fluffy.
Now I remember that one of the benefits of a July trip to Poland are 'jagodzianki'.
I think Crush is definitely worth revisiting, not just in the summer, but all year round. Their sweet and savory offerings were picture perfect.
The location in an attractive part of Kraków helps.
There's no way you won't pass by. It's definitely located on my favorite walking route. read more
