My installation was completed by David who is no doubt the NASCAR equivalent of dishwasher installers. On time, in and out in less than 40 minutes! No-show with no communication on first installation appointment (through Lowe's). Made me wait another week for "next available" then they cancelled that appointment the morning-of. Their communication/customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. Left an half-dozen or so requests for callback and they NEVER returned my call; not even once. I saw it best described in another review: this is a Mickey Mouse operation. The scheduling process is beyond frustrating. I was given exactly one installation time slot, and when that time didn't work, I was told I would be placed back into a queue and receive a call within two business days to reschedule. In what world is that considered reasonable customer service? Most reputable companies offer multiple scheduling options or allow customers to select a time that works for them. Instead, I was left waiting with no flexibility, no sense of urgency, and no confidence that anyone was actually managing the process. If this is how they handle something as basic as scheduling, it doesn't inspire much confidence in the rest of the operation. I ordered a new sliding door and a storm door from Lowes to be installed. Crume was contracted to do the work. They arrived when they said the would and not only was both doors installed amazingly well, but they also took away the old doors and cleaned everything up very well. They also showed us everything about the doors and how to adjust if we ever need to. I am sorry to see others have a bad experience, I just know I have zero issues with their work or professionalism. read more

The installer knew his stuff. He even corrected the vent pipe trajectory (which had been at a 90º angle) for better outflow. Once finished, he took the time to explain the warranty and other pertinent details. The new gas water heater works great, and we are happy with the results. read more

Installation window was 2-6. I received no communication from the installer until 6:45. He showed up at 9 pm. When I tried to follow up with the company the next business day about the poor communication and being late, they disconnected me. We purchased a microwave from Lowes and they arranged installation, Crume Installations. They were exceptional in communications from the first confirmation of the appointment through completion. The installer called on installation day and arrived early per my request. He was cordial & efficient. The entire process including removal & replacement took less than 1/2 hour. Useless bunch of amateurs. Took forever to schedule a toilet install. First installer they scheduled cancelled. Second installer insisted that I order the wrong size toilet and refused to install it. He next told me he thought I had a broken flange. I responded by saying if the flange was broken water would be leaking on floor. He insisted I had wrong size toilet and he left. I then hired a real plumber who confirmed the guy didn't know what he was talking about and he installed the same toilet I originally ordered. Brooklyn was sent to install dishwasher. Terrible experience. She didn't know the basics. Said shut off value was not working. It was. She shut off main in house and then the main in the yard. She didn't let the water left in lines drain before making assessments that all wayar valves were broken. Very poor experience. Manager Micah didn't help. Customer service is horrible!!! They are supposed to call you to schedule but instead they use an automated system that calls you and tells you what time they will be there! This is the total opposite of the courtesy call that Lowes says you will receive so you can work within your schedule. The second delivery date, we got a call in the morning that the driver/installer DID NOT HAVE A TRUCK to bring it to us. Crume installed over the range microwave on 5/27/26 with one bolt. He said he would return the following day. He did not nor did he return the next day after several phone calls and texts. His manager was notified with a video of the crappy installed. She tried to reschedule him and I refuse. I was rescheduled for 6/12/26 between 1pm-3pm with a different technician. Installer contacted via text and telephone at 1250pm. He was on another job and would call when finish. At 4:55pm, I tried calling and texting no answer. His manager was contacted via text about his no-show. As of today, I have not heard from Crume. CRAPPY business practice! I contacted Lowe's installation requesting a refund for the install. They took information and said they look into it. Lowe's call the following day and said I was not entitled to a refund because it was complete. How can a microwave be installed with ONLY ONE BOLT! I presented to the store to show them with the video and text messages from CRUME installer. David, Lowe's employee, did not want to listen or view the texts or video. Total unreliable business! This firm is contracted by Lowe's (and other companies) to do the install work on household appliances you buy. On a recent purchase I placed with Lowe's I was informed by phone the install would happen in 2 days. Later during the same day I received a sneaky text message rescheduling the install 10 days later without my consent! A call to Crume Installation did not resolve the scheduling issue which resulted with me canceling my order with Lowe's. The main weight in this mishap is certainly with the third party provider but Lowe's also has some butter on its head. That day came and went. So did the next. Total silence. Over the course of five weeks, Lowe's tried and failed to get this job scheduled. Have tried to get three toilets we purchased from Lowe's installed two times without success. Crume has been inflexible and very difficult to work with. They dictate installation times that are over 10 days out and only in the afternoon. if you don't agree with their date and time, you will have to wait another 10 days.
