Workers doing jack shit

I have three words to describe my experience here. "What the hell????" The workers here couldn't care less I repeat COULD NOT care less. There was 4 workers here at this crumbl cookie and 3 of them were standing around in the front talking and gossiping as if it was lunch time at high school. There were active customers in the store and I stood there at the register waiting for someone to help me. They just all looked at me as if I had a foot growing out of my face. This place is so unprofessional and there was only one person working. That poor girl doing all the work by herself my visit was June 4th around 6pm. I've never been so disappointed with service.

Was driving by and had to stop and try these because I've had them from another location, and they were great. The ladies there seemed helpful and made sure they were ready if I had any questions. The tablets were pretty straightforward and user-friendly to place my order. I went ahead and got the 4 cookies package and ordered the snickerdoodle, Reeces cup, chocolate chip, and their specialty layered jam cookie. They didn't take long at all to get me my order, and I took it and happily walked out to the car so they couldn't see me immediately start chowing down on the cookies. As soon as I opened the box, I noticed my Reeces cookie didn't actually have any Reeces on it and didn't look like their example. I debated going back in, but I love Reeces, and their sign did say to let them know if the cookies don't look right, so I figured it wasn't a big deal. What I failed notice about the sign is that it didn't say anything about them needing to be nice about fixing it. (To be fair though, I didn't think it had to, but silly me!) I smiled and softly told her my Reeces cookie was missing my Reeces on it (I didn't want to draw attention) and WOW! The annoyed, stink face I got back had me looking behind me to see what caused it, and since Harry and Lloyd weren't standing there about to make the most annoying sound in the world, I realized that look was for ME!! She took my box, sprinkled a passive-aggressive amount on to my cookie and slid the open box back to me, annoyed, and couldn't even be bothered to look at me. So, I closed my box, picked up my cookies, and told Harry and Lloyd, "Let's get out of here - we know when we're not wanted." Then we all got into the big dog van and ate our delicious cookies in sadness while making loud, obnoxious noises together.

Came today and did not know what to expect as far as how long I had to wait..only 5 people ahead of me, was in and out in less than 5 minutes cute little place and love you can see the preparing your Cookies..ordered 3 different Cookies and was served fast and efficiently...very rich flavor and delicious cookies.. got Carrot Cake and Double Chocolate and Chocolate Chip which I gifted to a client...Gourmet Cookies, not your normal store bought Cookie..they are very rich and can be shared..worth what you pay for them..

Happy to try the new thin Thursdays. It's a fun addition to the menu. Overall appearance/cleaning could be better.

Service was not that great. We waited outside for a long time even after they told us it would just be a minute.

While visiting a friend in Inverness, we decided to explore The Tilted Teacup. High tea is a small…read morepassion of ours, and over the years we have experienced many tea rooms across the country and abroad, so we arrived curious and ready to be charmed. The tea room itself is a beautiful, eclectic house. Spacious yet cozy, decorated in a delightful hodgepodge of styles that somehow comes together harmoniously. It feels whimsical without tipping into chaos. The kind of place where teacups don't match, and that is precisely the point. Making reservations was pleasantly easy. I emailed on a Sunday for a Wednesday seating and received confirmation by Monday. I was mildly surprised they did not require a credit card deposit, something many tea rooms now request given the labor-intensive preparation and delicate perishables involved. Their trust in the process is refreshing. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Amiee, the owner and our server, was friendly and engaging, walking us through the tea selections, the promise of unlimited pots, and explaining the offerings that would arrive throughout the experience. We ended up trying five different teas, each pot a small surprise thanks to Amiee's suggestions. I cannot remember all the names, but I can happily say we liked every one of them. One in particular tasted remarkably like banana bread in a cup. Warm, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and thankfully not overly sweet. We were also delighted by the Peach Apricot, bright and cheerful, and really enjoyed the Pomegranate Vanilla Lemur, which had a lovely layered flavor. We began with a creamy mushroom soup, rich and comforting. The scone, served before the tiered tray, was warm, buttery, and quite good, though notably without the traditional Devonshire or clotted cream. Still, it stood proudly on its own. The finger sandwiches were fresh and thoughtfully varied. The bread did not appear homemade, but the selections complemented each filling nicely and everything tasted fresh. The cheese muffin was flavorful, though we both mused that two smaller ones with a slightly moister crumb might have been even better. The sweet tier was satisfying overall. I was initially skeptical about the bread pudding, but the mini chocolate tart and a delicate lemon tart on filo more than made up for it. One of the highlights of the afternoon was chatting with Amiee about the journey of the tea room through the years, including the challenges of navigating the Covid era. I am always impressed by those who pursue a vision in the food industry. It is a difficult road, and places like this exist because of persistence, courage, and a genuine love of hospitality. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing, which is remarkably reasonable compared with the often lofty cost of afternoon tea elsewhere. All in all, The Tilted Teacup offers a warm, charming, and thoughtful tea experience. My friend and I left very pleased, well fed, and with the comforting sense that we had spent the afternoon exactly as it should be spent: with good tea, good conversation, and a table full of small delights. I happily recommend it.
