We had a great experience here. We arrived early in the morning and the hotel held our luggage…read moreuntil we came back later that afternoon to check in. They offer bike rentals which was convenient; however, it was $15 a day which is pricer than we anticipated. Great location if you're taking public transportation because it is a 2 minute walk to the central station and yet our hotel room was quiet with a great view!

I actually had and event booked at another hotel in Rotterdam (The Slaak), however 2 weeks before…read morewe were to arrive I received an email from the property that they were behind schedule. Merel van Dort from The Slaak recommended the Rotterdam Marriott, and even offered to cover the difference in rate. Bonus point #1 to Merel for having done this! I then began working with Demi Vevat at the Rottderdam Marriott, who managed the transition seamlessly. We had a few last minute cancellations, which she also graciously allowed us to cancel. From working with Demi, to checking in, to our overall experience, I have to say the customer service at this hotel is as good as it gets! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! Shout out also to Olaf, who was a gem to work with! The rooms were spacious and clean, the Concierge Lounge had a great breakfast and evening snacks. We had a couple of meetings in there that afforded us a quiet spot to meet. The proximity to the train station is PERFECT, and the ability to walk to many places is easy. I would definitely stay at this property again! Thank you again to both Olaf and Demi!!

Fancy looking but the staff is not what you would want from a hospitality standpoint…read more The check in was remarkably lack luster like talking to a teen while they on there phone. five min after getting to room the house keeping barged in, showing my naked lady body to the guest in the hall Room was super warm and took over and hour to cool to an ok temperature. There was a hair on the bed and the toilet flush is broken ‍ don't let this hotel ruin your holiday

I will have to start with the parking situation. This has to be the absolute worst, not only do…read morethey not have parking you could end up parking miles away from the hotel. The neighborhood the hotel is located in is a little sketchy as people hang around corners and by the parking lot. It would seem to be right to have parking for the hotel even if it's chargeable at a daily rate. The lobby area of the hotel is more of a hangout. We got into the room only to find a bed full of hair strands everywhere and in the opposing room (suite) there were chairs (love seat and oversized chair) under the daylight looks as if there were consummation occurring or animals laying all over them. We called the staff for additional sheets to put over the bed and chairs so that we could at least enjoy them however no one came. It wasn't until that evening we were coming in from dinner that the nice night staff brought us one. My suggestion is to remember you get what you paid for......unfortunately. .........lesson learned.....

It is conveniently located about 5 minutes away from Rotterdam Central station. But due to roadwork…read moreconstruction the Weena tram stop is not operational which made the hotel not so conveniently located in between Rotterdam Central tram stop and Stadhuis metro stop. You need to walk some distance to use the public transit. The reception desk is awkwardly located on 1st floor and there's only 1 functioning elevator from ground to 1st floor. And there's no dedicated elevator button to call for the only elevator to reach ground floor. The rotating door was broken and you had to manually push it. The night entrance door next to the rotating door doesn't lock, which is definitely weird. Rooms are decently quiet and you can mostly avoid the street noise from 4th floor and up. Air conditioning was strong and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast options were decent. Even though they have automatic machines available in the breakfast area for coffee and hot water, they closed it off after breakfast and you had to ask the reception staff for hot water.

Stayed here for a business trip…read more Pros: Convenient location Next to Central Station. Easy to get around Price is cheaper than the other major chains Cons: Rooms are smaller than the other two chains in the area (Marriott and Hilton) If you have status at Marriott, you get access to their lounge, which gives you free alcohol and snacks at night and free breakfast in the morning. Place is good and clean and I recommend this place if you have no status with the other two chains. But if you do have status, the other two chains' amenities are nicer.
