My dads car broken down on Sunday May 15, he called AAA since they pay for service. This was his…read morefirst time using it. They said they had no tow trucks available and would call him back. He sat in the nearly 90' heat for 4 hours with his medical conditions and he obviously didn't bring food with him because he didn't anticipate his fuel pump going on. He kept called back after 4 hours and they said there was still no available tow trucks - they don't have enough drivers. They would find one and call him back. They never did. He had to leave his car and Uber home to escape the heat. When he got home be called AAA again, they gave him the same reasoning for their lack of any kind of help. My dad ended up having to pay to have his car towed home even though he pays AAA for their services. My mon was livid, she contacted AAA and explained my dads health issues and explained that AAA is paid for a service they obviously cannot provide. They said they would reimburse the tow but what good does that do when he spent literal hours waiting on a service that he paid for to cone through. My advice, add towing to your insurance and cancel AAA, do not wait for an unexpected situation to leave you in a bad situation because AAA is unreliable.

She called the airline (who now had its call center overwhelmed) and waited on hold updating us along the way. During that time I did internet searches for possible other ways to get to Germany and could find none. We gave up hope, but Mary did not. She kept at it and after 3 hours on hold with the airline was able to find a way for us to land in Germany nearly 4 hours later than originally planned. The hours she spent working for us was probably more than she would have liked, but she has won our business forever. 100% recommended.

The no exceptions cancellation policy is presented multiple times VERY clearly- that's what travel insurance is for. This is busy adventure travel- if you want unstructured time or ultra luxe accommodation, this probably isn't right for you. If you aren't committed to engaging socially with a group, you won't have fun.
