I am appalled at the service in this place. I am a designer, and stopped by to see an item in…read moreperson, but did not have an appointment with a sales person. I was barred from entering the show room until I told the (very rude) receptionist why I was there! When I explained what I was looking for I was told "we don't have that" and then she proceeded to turn around and deal with someone else who apparently deserved attention more. I asked another employee where the sinks were located and I was shooed away and told "over there" as she gestured to an entire side of the showroom. Every time I ran into an employee here I was not asked if I needed help, I wasn't even greeted or smiled at - instead I was given a smug "smile" if you could call it that and was asked to move out of the way. I have been to many high end design showrooms with price points much higher than Ferguson and have never been treated like this. I understand that making an appointment is the ideal way of doing business, however there needs to be a way to accommodate customers without treating them like trash. Whoever is in charge of the sales floor - I hope you read this and I hope some changes are made.

Horrific. We roamed the entire floor for over half an hour. Went home and made an appointment, was treated so rudely by the sales rep who informed us that he had a DESIGNER who he wanted to talk to at that time and we could re-book. The mgr got us another sales rep who helped us although we had already set up a project online. Then when it came time to pay for the rest of our order we could not get the sales rep after repeated attempts and a "sales coordinator" would not answer the phone or return phone calls for days on end even when I called her back within 4 minutes of her email to me to call her. Then, out of frustration had to go in and pay online which then triggered a phone call while I was dining out from the sales rep who was then rude and said everything was just going to show up on my front porch (even the part that she apparently got credit for selling to me) and still the sales coordinator would not respond AT ALL. The employees in this business are all divas who seem to think they can and should jerk customers around to make them feel special. Ferguson needs to SERIOUSLY re-think its business model because PDI is right up the street and can get all the same things for the same price with nicer employees and a much less stressful experience. WTF Ferguson????!!!! Get some competent management in the senior positions and remember that without customers you are literally nothing.

Of course, I immediately noticed that this showroom is pretty much entirely for those building or renovating kitchens and baths, but I just love to browse. Kenny & Co. have everything you can imagine for your upscale kitchen or bathroom, from tubs and sinks to tile, hardware and fixtures. You can choose from a vast array of ultra modern and sleek to retro to rustic and classic styles. Beautiful tiles too--and their displays make you want to tear your house apart immediately...but you had better be ready with a pretty heavy bank account or long line of credit! This ain't your Home Depot... Have questions? Ask any of the friendly designers in store--Robin Pigg is a personal favorite of mine; I have worked with her before and she knows her stuff!

No offer to assist, but she did say she must have been at lunch, not sure why that mattered. After that, she disappeared. We came back to the desk 3 times to get help, no one. I did see her hanging out with a designer and other team member, I'm glad the designer received assistance. I will not be back. I will not recommend to anyone. My assumption is they don't need the business. I can see how they have a good review from a designer as they were giving that individual quite a bit of attention. Had just the opposite experience at PDI, and I hadn't even called them. I only spend 16K on a bathtub there but I do plan on returning for the rest of our bathroom remodel. Victoria spend some time helping us and redeemed our afternoon in Nashville. Need help remodeling go to PDI and ask for Victoria.

What can I say about Southern Stone. First class all the way…read more After a dreadful experience with MC Gr&^%$te, Southern Stone not only bailed me out in the remodel of my kitchen, they did it with complete professionalism and frankly, the Quartz they installed looks much cleaner than the stone installed by that other company. In remodeling our kitchen, we had existing countertops to replace and we added a custom island being built separately. After dealing with the headache of the other countertop company (you can see my review of MC Gr&^%$te) who installed, botched, then reinstalled countertops, thus pushing all other sub-contractors work out nearly 3 weeks, in a pinch I contacted Southern Stone to bid on the remaining island countertop. Amanda walked me through the options for the quartz and was able to secure a measuring within 48 hrs. They showed up on a busy Friday afternoon at the company building the island to professionally measure. It was great! Laser measurements, asked the right questions and guess what...when they came to install...it fit like a glove over a very expensive custom island. The install team was great, they worked with me to get the stone in just the right place and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves so I didn't have to crawl under sinks with a shop vac to suck up particles left behind. AND...they did all of this in one week! These folks are great to work with, easy to communicate with, cover all the details and have awesome quartz and probably awesome granite as well! I highly recommend them if you're looking to upgrade your countertops, flooring, walls. Wish I'd have shopped them initially in my search for kitchen countertops. Would have saved me time and headaches.

They send a tech out and the tech initially thinks the slab is dirty and attempts to clean with Simple Green then Magic eraser. They then say they have a problem with a clear finish on particular products but do not communicate this prior to purchase or install. They knowingly have a subpar product and are not forthcoming about it. We would have readily paid more for a better product had they told us the finish was what it turned out to be.

We ran into some unexpected complications with the install of our counters and backsplash yet,…read moredespite it all, we felt like we were in good hands. The first complication was due to weather. We just happened to have our install scheduled for the week that once in a decade snowfall came. Needless to say, this required some flexibility to see what dates would work to re-schedule us. Monica made sure, though, that we are always kept in the loop and that the project would go ahead with minimal disruption. The second complication was due to a computer glitch that caused the wrong backsplash pattern to get assigned to our project. Unfortunately this was only discovered after it had been completely installed. My wife and I felt so bad that all that material and labor was wasted but Brett, the owner, was more concerned that we got what we wanted so he did what was needed to make things right. We are now very pleased with how everything turned out. This didn't play out as we expected but we have a fun story to tell and a great kitchen to tell it to our friends in =D To sum it all up, not that we wished for these wrinkles but they did show us how the company would respond when things were less than ideal and I can say wholeheartedly that they do put the customer first and will make sure you are left very satisfied with the end product. A special shout out as well to Kevin who brought the showroom to us, enthusiastically answered all our questions, and did a great job selling us on his company without being too pushy. Bonus points for the great suggestions on what options would work best with the kitchen.
