I am so glad that I started the day of looking with Something Bridal and I recommended it to my engaged friends immediately.

Zipper went up with ease, got it to the top and it came completely apart. We had to sew my daughter into dress. It was an awful situation. We only had a short amount of time and had to worry through whole night that dress will hold up. Took video to show that it was broke, left voicemail with shop. Owner called Monday. Told me she recieved my voicemail and that that is not possible with that gown. Offered to pay for a new zipper (just the zipper, not the installation). Owner is new this year, we have always bought deesses there in the past. We will never shop their again.

We were all there and the business was closed! Couldn't get ahold of ANYONE by phone the entire day! Still never received a call to explain or apologize! We waited to see if maybe they might have hit traffic and NOTHING! No call, no show---to make it worse we asked the business next door and they said we weren't the only ones who mentioned this same issue that day let alone in recent years. This is suppose to be an important event and big day for many yet this was just unprofessional and inexcusable all around. We are all grateful for it though...because had this happened later down the line when needing to pick up the dress let's say after alterations---total nightmare I imagine. I feel for any bride trying to get ahold of anyone at this location. THANKFUL for ELLIS BRIDAL for not only accommodating my baby sister on her special day but us all. The lady helping me started asking really personal questions about if I was living with my fiance yet. When I told her no she was obviously judging me for not living with him before we got married. Which I just thought was crossing a boundary for someone I've literally never met and whose business it is NOT. I got a lace up back on my dress and asked if I could see it without the panel behind it (some brides do that) and she basically told me I shouldn't do that because "it would look like lingerie" and she kept calling my wedding a "Bible wedding" and like wouldn't drop it even when I tried to move on. Basically implying "how could you want to show your back if you are a Christian". Then she goes on to talk to my maid of honor about "no brides really wait to move in with their finances anymore" and she went to tell the other girl at the counter about our conversation in front of me while I was paying. She then made the comment "if your mom was here what would she think" and I was just like shocked. As if my mom would be appalled if I showed like an inch of my back line who cares. My maid of honor was also super weirded out. It was so strange especially since my first experience was so good. But that being said I love my dress and am excited to wear it! But I probably will not recommend to a friend unfortunately.
