D Cross is the best! We have had them build 5 buildings for us. The last two were the best ever. Two 30x50x10 's. One with two 12x50 porches in charcoal Gray trimmed in black. The 5th building all white with wrap around porch measuring 12x92 feet. Beautiful buildings. Great people, Eddie,Faith and especially Luke for keeping us with the whole projects. D Cross constructed a 40x60 pole barn for us in September 2021. Planning and scheduling went well, good communications with that part of the business.  However, extremely frustrating was the construction process, the lack of oversight, and never actually finishing the job.  It's disappointing that only after the fact did we find so many reviews describing the same experience we had with D Cross and saying "BUYER BEWARE"... Issues we experienced included: * The spacing of sidewall girts and roofing purlins is 15-20% greater than the contract specifications. Only way to correct this is to re-build. * Posts were installed so poorly that after a few days the settling of soil around them resulted in open voids beneath the concrete slab. * The concrete finishing work was so sloppy that out of the four sliding doors installed, three wouldn't close (two wouldn't even budge). * Diagonal bracing was not installed in the building's corners (despite this being highlighted as a D Cross standard practice). * The doors were left with incomplete hardware, and overall the site was left a mess. * Very poor communications during construction, and very unresponsive to requests for follow-up. Never saw them again after the final payment. Despite sending numerous pics and written communications requesting attention to these issues, repairs and corrections were left for my wife and I to complete (she's shoveling more fill underneath the concrete as I type this).  On the whole it was a pretty frustrating experience; thank goodness it's behind us! read more

I wish you could put negative stars. Do your self a favor and look elsewhere right away! This place is a joke. They have cost us a lot of money. We are having someone else come in and fix all the shitty work, which is stalling our build. The communication did not exist. He would say he was on his way and two and half hours say he can't make it. If you were luck he'd show up two days later. Such a piece of work. The owner is clueless. Everyone that has been to our property is disgusted with their work. We know a lot of people and have spread the word, this company is not trustworthy with your investment. read more

1star! Only bc I cant leave zero stars! Terrible communication and scheduling. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else but if you do use them, read the fine print and don't even bother with the "fully insulated" it's merely a 1/4" moisture barrier, if that. No concrete in the poles and said expansion joints in concrete cost extra... we got the expansion joints but they were few and far between. Had to have real concrete company come to finish joints. All around pretty crappy. Ask a lot of questions and I would request to see material first bc the wood was pretty bottom of the barrel as well......oh well. I really enjoyed the crew that came out to build my barn. Really good guys and hard workers. The barn came out pretty good and seems really sturdy. I would say to make sure you have a clear understanding of smaller details before you start. One thing that caught me off guard was I requested 10 foot ceilings but I should have asked for 10 foot from Finish floor to ceiling because you lose some with the concrete and the headers. But overall a good experience. read more
