The manager and staff is so disrespectful and unprofessional. From the Manager Rob and his workers…read moreto name a few Steve, Sleepy, and Perry. I went for a haircut acknowledged I was there for Steve, waited over a hour before my son asked Steve if he was only taking appointments. Steve then tells my son he could cut his hair the next day but not that day, and cuts 3 other guys head. Perry was nice enough to cut my son and my hair, we were in the barbershop 4 hours. He did a good job on my son's hair overall minus the hair bumps, but a HORRIBLE job on mine. After Manager Rob calls Perry a dum dum, all chaos breaks out in the barber shop. Perry gets upset while cutting my hair and asked them repeatedly to chill out. Sleepy and another barber who wears an Eagle's hat began to laugh and go back and forth with Perry about being called a dum dum. I asked the men to please stop as I was sitting in the chair getting my hair cut. I could feel the tension in the atmosphere and Perry had changed the way he was cutting my hair. The Manager Rob begins to keep instigating it on, so I then say to him if he could stop as well. He says "I'm a grown man, I'm 50 years old and nobody was going to tell him to stop". As a result my fade/shape up has now turned into a Mohawk cut, one side much lower than the other, and I have line up that isn't even straight across the front. I couldn't believe I was seeing grown men act like kids in this establishment, and not caring about customers. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. They do not value customers and barbers come and go like a turnstile. Change needs to happen within this barbershop, this was the last time I will patronize them with my business. They aren't deserving of my funds.

My two yr old and his father are regulars here. I took him today to get his mohawk *cleaned* up by…read morethe shorter bald barber. Once he finished, which was in less than 15 mins, I attempted to pay by debit card on square, as the sign on the door reads- only to learn that *he* doesn't accept square. Before heading to the gas station ATM, I asked about the cost, which was, according to my husband, 17 bucks- the barber told me 20...and that's what he charged me to CLEAN up my TWO yr old's Mohawk - a cut he's been rocking for 8 months now. I can't understand how cutting the sides lower and trimming the top can cost the same as if he shaped the entire head. Never again, from this dude, who by the way wasn't the friendliest, not even with my son. And the slim guy next to him is more precise... DISHONEST, and OVER PRICED. I try so hard to support Black owned businesses, but yet again... Update: I see that Tye had his "friend" write a review, referencing mine...how incredibly unprofessional. *IF* he, or she read (or can read), you'd see that he charged me $20 for a $17 mohawk that was in fact just a SHAPE UP. Word to the wise Tye, address my review yourself, don't get your "peeps" to comment on *my* experience. Is this a beauty salon, or a barber shop? How childish and unprofessional... again, further proof of why you should go to the slim guy, if you must...

The average time in the chair is about 45 min between the cut, the beard and finally the razor. I've never minded the time as the cut is always clean ,detailed, and you can tell he cares about his work. Will suggest you get there at open if you have somewhere to be early in the day, but my thing is who wants a quick half assed cut when you can add just about 10 more minutes to the average time it takes to do a decent cut and have it done right and attention paid to details. When you go ask for Twin and you'll be more than satisfied with the job he'll do to your hair and your search for a barber will be over!

I was driving home from work 2 days ago and decided I wanted to cut all my hair off. I was passing…read morethis barbershop so I went in. There were 2 barbers there. 1 had a client and the other was sitting there. She asked what I wanted and I said to cut all my hair off low with no shape up. She looked shocked and said she's never had a woman come in and say that. I should've walked out at that point since plenty of women do "the big chop". She went and talked to someone then said I could get in her chair. She started by cutting my hair with scissors saying that it was so thick she needed to cut it down first. This was not my first time cutting my hair all off so this was red flag number 2. I asked how long she had been cutting hair and she didn't really answer. She said it was a teaching shop and that she used to be a cop. She retired and now she was starting a new career Long story short, it took her an hour and a half to cut my hair which is ridiculous. I was tired after a 12 hour shift and there's no reason what I asked for should've taken that long. She cut a little bit at a time alternatingbetweenscissors and the clippers. She used huge scissors by my ears and it was terrifying. She cut my hair uneven and on one side she left my sideburn and straight cut it on the other side. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the cut was only $20 and the barber was very nice.
