I walked out of the establishment and he charged my card for a cancellation fee. Had I been a man and not a woman, this clearly wouldn't have happened. (This isn't a breaking point for me, as long as I can get a good cut) For quality work though, it really comes down to paying attention to who's doing it. As a walk-in, Doug is my go to, and Frankie does decent work as well. However, I strongly recommend staying away from Shaun. A potential language barrier perhaps, as asking for a certain length (2in, 3in, etc.) results in just using a #2 or #3 head (1/4in - 3/8in). So on more than once occasion, a much closer cut than wanted. This even happened when I asked for 2 and a half inches, and in hindsight I feel like the (Half inch) request should have made the point, but it seems not. On top of that, sloppy work. Full size hairs, just left without any clean up. For example, I had some still an inch or two where the top of my ear met my head, and even after pointing it out, she unsuccessfully runs a razor across the general area and assumes it's good (even though the hairs are still there). All that said, it's worth the wait on Doug or Frankie if you're a walk-in, or scheduling an appointment ahead of time.

First of all he was 20mins late. I told him what I wanted my son's hair to look like and he did the opposite of what I had asked for. The top is uneven, I told him just to trim it and keep the curls in and all he did was take scissors and chop off the top. He even shaved my sons eyebrows and proceeded to act like nothing happened.
