There are so many problems that I don't know where to start. The first problem is greed. When I made my reservation through booking.com I received a message from them saying there's a 1000-peso fee for arriving late, even though I paid online in advance. Who charges a fee for arriving late? A fee should be charged for arriving early or checking out late. Second problem is they never answer the phone and they're impossible to reach. Finally, I was unable to board my flight because I didn't have a vaccination card so my flight was canceled by the airline. The hotel would not let me cancel because they didn't reply, and when booking.com requested a refund, they said the cancelation fee is 100% of all charges, which in my case was almost $800. When I paid online, it was optional. I could have waited to pay over the counter when I arrived, so they had no right to keep my $800. I wish there was a way to boycott this hotel. read more
