After my stellar review about Whitney...the salon has become too busy for me. I've called here a couple of times since my review and they do not have time for me so I moved on to another salon. It's too bad because I'm a frequent customer and great tipper! You would think a salon would have notes about their frequent customers so they could try to fit them in but I guess they are too busy to make notes and keep regular customers. Finally found the perfect most amazing place to get exactly what I want. The last person who did my nails so perfectly moved far away so I was bouncing around from salon to salon. I was never completely happy with the outcome, but finally I found MY. She is absolutely the best, we connected right away! I came back after my pedicure to get the same color on my nails. I picked my color and got my fills done and some redone. They look terrible, I could even tell while she did them that I didn't think she knew what she was doing. Made me really uneasy. It looks like a child did my nails. They're all different lengths and they looks horrible even after only 5 days of getting them done. My ring finger has a design of hearts and I should have never gotten it, they look horrible. My favorite nail salon. No other place compares. They know u by name and you don't feel like just another number. They have complimentary beverages (including wine). Their jelly pedicure is reasonably priced they take their time and pride themselves in their work. Leah is my favorite. She is amazing with acrylics. She shapes them perfectly and is great with designs. She has also done gel and nexgen on me and is great with those as well as pedicures. This place is pretty great. I went in about a hour before close, and was seen with no quarrel. I went for a gel manicure and a matching (nongel) pedicure. I had to wait maybe 10 minutes, which is no big deal with no appointment on a Saturday evening. Process as always with gel, quick... However, it wasn't cleaned up. Meaning, my skin was stuck to the run over of gel, and I had to file the sides upon leaving. As well as the tip of nail needed to be filed a bit after they were finished. Small oversight. They only charged me for a polish change on my toes and did a mini pedicure, which I truly appreciate - these are great people! Only issue with the pedicure is the color they claim to match the gel, doesn't at all. I have brown toes and nude nails... Oh well, overall 4/5 for me. I may try some other area nail salons simply out of curiosity. read more

Shitty service, shitty communication, she got mad at me because i said "ouch" so she literally threw her tool on the table and got a new one. She obviously wanted to go home and was taking it out on me. There is stuff stuck to my fingers. When i went to pay, i stood there waiting for someone to come up to me. The women sitting the closest to me looked at me, rolled her eyes and looked back down. Then she laughed at me. When Lee the nail tech was putting the polish on my nails, she did it so fast and it is so clumpy.. not even worth the $10 if someone with the skills of a 10 year old is doing the job. I've been going to Leah because she is extremely focused on details and I like to get special designs. I have gone to others here before and they do a good job as well. If the owner recognizes you she usually greets you by name which speaks volumes for managing. I have tried to get service from this place twice. First time didn't think anything of their what seemed like rude behavior. However after attempting to go there again experienced the same thing...so in my case I am not from the area so walked in to get a nail fixed and said they don't do acrylic. So asked if they knew where nearest shop was I got a dismissive "there is shop on every corner". So would not recommend going to this shop. I was taken right away by Ingrid and although at first I felt out of place, her conversational style, as well as Jay's (who did my friend) put me at ease after the first 10 minutes.
