She mentioned the bacon was a little on the salty side, but I really enjoyed my sausage patties -- good flavor and cooked just right. The pancakes were the star of the show. Light, fluffy, and huge -- like small hubcaps taking over the plate. The only thing that would've made them better would be whipped butter and warm syrup. That little extra touch would have taken them over the top. Portion sizes were generous for sure, but the price caught me off guard. We both drank water and our total came to $31 for breakfast. As a former chef, I know breakfast is one of the most cost-effective meals to produce -- it's usually the best money-maker for restaurants. While the portions were solid and the food was good, the price point gives me pause.
