My only suggestion is that I wish that they would deliver to South Berwick. DoorDash is fine but the prices are not as low as direct from Shaws. This is the best grocery store in the Seacoast. Get the flyer and shop the sales. They even put things on sale that are in short supply such as Coke, canned cat food and beef soup. They haven't increased their prices on scarce items either. Tiny, frozen vegetable and fruit cabinets offering little selection, and lots of chest freezer space devoted to prepared meals, which I don't use. There's a meat department in this store, but by that point I was done with the grand experiment, and lined up at the only staffed check-out counter (out of five), waited, paid, and left. I told him that I photograph lobsters and said that I don't eat them. Michael was completely attentive, enthusiastic and engaging. Aside from the most hospitable welcome, the deli attendant was quite helpful. That particular Hannaford's has a much warmer, cleaner and calm ambiance than does the Hannaford's where I live in Sanford. My visit to your Madbury Hannaford's makes me want to live in that community. It was the kind of positive experience that makes me feel welcome in a community. I recently saw Michael out and about in Dover, NH and he remembered me. I plan to relocate to the Madbury area. Wonderful!
