The Samurai armor is indeed the anchor to not only telling the story of the warrior, but its history as well. Every piece is essentially art, too. They're captivating to look at because there's naturally a ton of detail in the armor. That being said, they do advertise seeing other things as well, but it's really only just a bunch of armor. For the price and the hour it takes to do, it's recommendable if you're okay with seeing almost exclusively Samurai armor.

They have a great selection of exhibits from Frisco's rich heritage, along with writings from current authors, including the critically acclaimed Dallas Texas Children's Author Cindy J. Vanous. In addition to the exhibit including Vanous' work, there was also a soccer exhibit that kept up with contemporary times as well. One thing that I thought was really cool was that on the day we were there, the Swedish Men's World Cup Soccer Team was visiting the museum as well.

A young girl painted the western wall when you first walk in and it is quite impressive. There are model T cars and dummy models dressed up from the different eras - they were fabulous. There is a whole display about the Pullman Rail Road cars - loved seeing and learning about this one. There's a section for athletes, western stars from the early 20s, and special exhibits that are displayed until the end of September. Around the museum are old homes decked out with beautiful flowers. To enter them is every other weekend and today was not the day, so we will come back to walk into the homes. The whole experience is free. And there are many wonderful opportunities for selfies/pictures. This is a place you should come to visit if you're in the Frisco area. It's definitely worth it!

There's lots to see and do on the inside and it's pretty interactive which is nice for the kiddos. It's a great piece of history that is worth checking out.

Inside the museum are exhibits that teach about electricity, facts about the Railway system, and fascinating pieces of Plano history. Plenty of buttons to push and things to do for kids (and adults). The staff is super friendly and happy to show you around and give you a personal tour of the historic railway car outside. There's even a weekly story time for kids every Friday at 11 am. Located in old Plano at the Eastern border of Haggard Park (near the DART station). A hidden gem!

There's a small gift shop on the first floor carrying all the typical things you might expect: burnt silk shawls, well-made children's toys of natural materials, jewelry, postcards and books. The museum is quite small, but still worth a visit - the SMU campus is beautifully maintained and adds to the tranquility and calm you will experience here.

They began by learning about the seven elements of art in a clear and age appropriate way. After that, they created their own clay sculptures, which allowed them to apply what they had learned in a hands on and meaningful way. The highlight was when a docent guided the students through the galleries and taught them about different art pieces. The explanations were thoughtful, interactive, and kept the students genuinely interested. Our class left inspired, excited, and talking about art long after we left. This was an excellent educational experience, and I highly recommend the Meadows Museum for school field trips or anyone looking for a rich and memorable art experience.

There were six of us, and I wouldn't describe any of us as motorcycle people. I decided we should visit the museum mostly due to its location (by where we had brunch) and because I always want to visit a place I haven't been before when I visit home (since I've been to most of the places on the beaten path, we now often get surprised by gems in the city that are off the beaten path). But wow. We were really blown away. So what is it? The Haas Moto Museum is a motorcycle museum, and their museum's about page sums it up well: "The Haas Moto Museum was founded by the late Bobby Haas and his partner, Stacey Mayfield, with a singular vision: to elevate motorcycles beyond mere machines, showcasing them as rolling works of art. Bobby's creativity, passion and fearless curiosity shaped every corner of the museum, establishing it as one of the most unique motorcycle museums in the world." I may not know much about motorcycles, but I had a great time wandering through the museum. Some of the custom motorcycles were incredible. And the historical motorcycles (all labeled with their manufacturer, year, and additional information)? I loved walking chronologically through them. The staff also made our visit even more wonderful. The Facilities Manager Brent and the Museum Engineer Chris were amazing; between the two of them, they gave us a great explanation of the museum and its collection, walked around with us a bit and pointed out some special pieces/motorcycles, and showed us around the shop where they work on custom motorcycles. The facility is also great - down to the little shop and weirdly great bathrooms they have in the building. They even have an area where you can enjoy a complimentary K-cup coffee or tea while watching a document about Bobby Haas. If you love motorcycles, I can't recommend Haas Moto Museum enough. But the surprise of our visit was that I also recommend it to people who don't care much for or about motorcycles at all. The motorcycles are beautiful - even to an uneducated motorcycle novice like me. We spent way more time here than we had expected to - because we were enjoying ourselves so much. It was one of the best surprises of my visit home. Check it out!

You can buy some souvenirs such as postcards, T-shirts, book about the history of the mustangs, pins, etc. I was fortunate that they had 20 percent off. The lady at the museum was very sweet and helpful. The museum definitely needs upgrades in technology. She wrote down the original total of my merchandise, calculated the discount on a calculator, wrote down the discount, entered each item on the computer. It was really time consuming. They also didn't accept Apple Pay.

This is a really neat model train display place in Frisco discovery center. There is a tour option,…read morebut that wasn't an option when we finally had gotten to try it out. It is for sure for someone in your life that loves trains and train models. It can be a quick little visit if not doing the larger tour of things outside and inside, we stayed about 30/40 minutes. They give you a little clipboard with a scavenger hunt, kids and adults, that really helps kids especially take more time to look at all of the things in the display. The folks working, along with the two or three other customers that were train people, there were very informative, helpful & nice to my youngest as he was the only kid there. Plus, for me make a day out of it and plan on going to the video game museum and/or the little learning play area in the same center. Especially based on the amount of time we spent there and the length of time we had taken to make the drive out there, so with our visit we did the video game museum cause my youngest loves both things. There is also a performance space there if there happens to be a show the same day, but the day that we went there was some sort of recital for a school or possibly a stringed instrument players contest.
