I wish that my words can adequately express my gratitude for having the most enjoyable tour of Yosemite. It was a very emotional experience for me. I am still mourning the loss of my parents from the pandemic. Seeing the sites and beauty of Yosemite had me in tears. Our tour guide, Daniel, was so informative and most of all - inspiring. He captivated me with his Yosemite stories and his war stories. My two kids received a year's worth of history education in the span of less than a day. Daniel gave me and my family new wonderful memories in this new chapter of our lives. Most especially, I seriously respect the owner. My son left his iphone in the tour van and I completely flipped out. The owner luckily was able to arrange a driver to drive from Yosemite to our hotel in Fresno to return the phone to us to save our vacation. As a business owner myself, I don't know if I would have done the same. This act of kindness speaks volumes about the business and how dedicated the owner is at giving visitors truly memorable experiences. We will be back!

We are a family of 4 and couldn't get Vehicle entrance tickets to Yosemite. So I talked my husband into doing a tour to get acquainted with the park. We decided it would be great to do the open top Jeep tour. I called to reserve our tour just the day before and was updated by the company on our pickup time. The Jeep was clean and fit us comfortably. Ram greeted us at the designated pickup spot, wore a mask, checked to make sure we each had a mask and instructed us to wear it a all times inside the vehicle and took our temperature prior to allowing us to enter the vehicle, we appreciated his thoroughness. Once loaded we were off to Yosemite. We had fantastic conversations with Ram and his knowledge of the park and photo ops was fantastic. He let us set the pace and engaged with the kids, even stopping at locations he felt the kids would enjoy giving us ample opportunities to enjoy the surroundings. Pricey yes but having someone knowledgable show your around instead of trying to race from point to point and missing the beautiful scenery in between was worth it. We really enjoyed our day with Ram and the packed lunch that was included was excellent also. Thank you!!!

Elderly parents, rest of the family and Eric our tour guy!

My elderly parents had a bucket list request to see Yosemite. We booked and got Eric as our tour guy and Omgee it was totally an amazing experience. I could of drove my parents and we would of seen a waterfall but booking this tour the best decision. He made it not only easy for my parents to get to destination points but the patience with parents (meant a lot) and knowledge of Yosemite history gave us much more appreciation Yosemite and it's natural beauty. Thank you Eric you were the best your guy!!! So glad we got you! Now you are part of our family photos and memories

One of the many beautiful stops on our tour with Juli

Had a blast with Juli in Yosemite today. We were picked up at our hotel and whisked away to a day full of sights, great photo ops, easy but rewarding hikes, great conversation, snacks, beverages and lunch with a cute souvenir bag. Highly recommend if you want a quick overview of the park with no stress.

This was the car. They put 8 people in this car!

We took this tour because it was rainy and snowy and I didn't want to drive to the mountain since I had never been there before. We saw all the sites despite the rain. Our guide was very knowledgeable and super nice. He walked with us in the wet weather to make sure we saw everything. I had booked a semi private tour. By paying more I had hoped for a comfortable experience and expected a van or a bus. They packed us in a larger suv with people we didn't know. The car was full. No room to move. My legs were hurting it was so tight. You can't see much from the middle seats which was unfortunate. And of course we are still in a pandemic so this was not safe! The food was okay. It was basically deli sandwiches that they had purchased in town and you eat in the lobby of the hotel. An okay experience not but not worth the money we paid give the size of the vehicle and number of guests.

The owner and staff were super welcoming and walked us through all their offerings, which made the experience even better. We kicked things off with a cider flight--our favorites were Early Harvest and Graveyard. Early Harvest was simple, crisp, and just sweet enough, while Graveyard reminded me of a Scottish smoky cider aged in whiskey barrels. I do wish there were a few more sweet options overall and possibly a current up to date list of what's on tap somewhere online, but everything was well-crafted and flavorful! To cool off, we grabbed a cider slushy (highly recommend!) and wandered the property. We visited the goats, strolled through the apple trees, and made friends with their big fluffy Pyrenees who was living his best life napping in the shade. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW. It was the perfect stop--relaxed, local, and a great way to start the afternoon before heading into Yosemite. After our tasting, we walked through some of the apple trees, visited the cutest goats, and made friends with their big, lazy Pyrenees dog who was living his best life soaking up attention. I picked up a bottle of Early Harvest and a t-shirt to bring back to DFW--both worth it! Such a charming little spot--relaxed, scenic, and just the right detour before Yosemite!

You don't have to navigate traffic, you're driven by and given ample time off this small bus to see everything and take tons of photos, lunch and a fantastic history lesson. $220.00 per person. Lunch is taken in the middle of the park where you can sit and enjoy it, use the facilities, grab a Starbucks if needed and take a short walk over to one of the waterfalls. You're picked back up after an hour and 1/2 and this wonderful tour continues. You see loads of wildlife, more amazing waterfalls and this famous sites you've seen all over the place in pictures, movies, paintings, etc and if your lucky, so rock climbers on 1/2 Dome or El Capitan. Incredible scenery and so much to learn about this incredible place, the indigenous peoples and tribes that lived here and the incredible amount of history all in one day. Do yourself a favor and take the tour. Hopefully you'll get Grant. He's fun, is an excellent driver, has lots of bottled water and snacks, really takes care of his fares, knows an enormous amount of info from here and makes the tour really fun. There's so much to see and if you don't know where you're going, you can really get turned around and hung up in traffic.

It was really nice having somebody do all the driving and the explaining. We were picked up from Tenaya Lodge at 7:30 and dropped off around 5 PM. We didn't know that we would have an opportunity to jump in the river Water at our last stop so I would suggest bringing a change of clothes or bathing suit and maybe even a blowup tube because it's worth the time. We would recommend this tour, but it is a long day and Marsha was cognizant to let us know that she was gonna allow us to rest on the way home. Worth the money.

This company was the only bus tour to come up on my Google search other than the free shuttles…read moreavailable in Yosemite Park. We wanted to avoid driving to the Park because of the rainy winter conditions. I called the company 3x and each time a woman answered and said she would call me back when she was in the office. Twice she called back and was not able to give me a specific date for a tour but wanted to take my credit card info. When we arrived at our Bass Lake destination there were glitzy brochures from this touring group. We called and got a slightly better response with a specific date that was available; we booked a full-day tour. The tour guide was punctual. Another couple at our hotel was also on the tour. The guide was pleasant but lacked a certain exuberance and historical/local lore knowledge that I associate with great tour guides. This beckons the question -- why go with a tour company? It's often more relaxing to let someone else do the driving, someone who knows the area and where to park. But, tour buses are more than taxi services. You expect them to "entertain" you with information tidbits. Our guide wasn't bad...but she was so tentative and seemed mostly to recite dates and little factoids. I was surprised to learn that she was leading bus tours for 12 or so years. But I ask a lot of questions...I'm inquisitive. The couple from Sacramento asked virtually no questions during the tour. We had asked ahead of time if we could dine at the Ahwahnee Hotel for lunch and the tour bus confirmed we'd stop there. The other couple was unfamiliar with the Ahwahnee but agreed to eat there after I told them about its historical significance compared to the "Food Court." The guide called to make reservations and asked if we wanted to sit together which made for some awkward silence until I said "two tables." How many people would want to spend $100 on lunch and sit with strangers? When the guide dropped us off at the restaurant she said she'd give us 30-45 minutes. Again, does it make sense to go to an expensive restaurant for a lovely lunch and leave within 30-minutes. I felt rushed. The tour consisted of driving around and looking out the van windows at lovely mountains and waterfalls. It was cold and wet and no one wanted to go hiking. I regret having to rush through the Ahwahnee Hotel and I never got to go to a Yosemite store or visitor station. Our tour would have ended about 2 hours earlier than usual if I'd not requested that we stop at a museum in Mariposa. The guide obliged but it was apparent she was interested in ending the tour early. I've had some terrific tours and a lot of it has to do with the personality of the tour guide -- their passion about the place, their willingness to go beyond and treat their guests to interesting experiences. Yosemite & Beyond is not there yet.
