BLACK MOLD. BAD MANAGEMENT. OVERPRICED Worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. Management isn't steady there's someone new every 3 months. The front desk people are never any help and have the worst attitude ever. Then when we first moved in our washer wasn't installed right and flooded our whole living room with a brand new rug we just got for that apartment. The "brand new" dishwasher didn't work so they replaced it with an old one they had in storage that would leak from the floor as well. Kitchen counter would literally fall apart on us. Spare room door didn't fit the frame so we had to put a pillow behind the door when we wanted to keep it closed. Then our shower had a leak happened behind the wall that lead to BLACK MOLD growing everywhere around our shower. We put our first work order to get it fixed in July and we still had mold issue when we moved out in June! Pretty much a whole year and they couldn't fix it? Why am I paying rent somewhere when they aren't providing adequate living conditions. They even cut out a big chuck of wall and replaced the wall without fixing the leak? For months we had a pieace of wall missing by our shower exposing the black mold with a heater blowing into it to "dry out" the mold. We put constant work orders in and nothing would get done. I had actually concerns for our health living in a moldy shower/bathroom. Would you feel clean after getting out of a shower like that? Then the sprinklers in front of the apartment complex would flood right in front of our place and you pretty much had to get soaked every time trying to get in and out of the place. Imagine trying to bring in groceries with a flooded sidewalk and grass with sprinklers spraying everywhere. The list just goes on and on with things wrong at this place. I could definitely knit pick at more things like parking, overfilled dumpster, etc. I would never refer anyone to this place. read more

If I could give this a zero star I would. I would absolutely not recommend this place. Where do I even begin? Not only is this property constantly overturned with new management (you would think knowledge on property management would be required, or even understanding contract/lease agreements, NOPE) the apartments on the inside are old, moldy, and falling apartment even with repairs and maintenance. Absolute overcharge of rent for what you get. property management picks and chooses which "items" on patios pass their "random inspections", Getting a problem solved takes up to 3-5 business days, minimum. Have a notice or need something delivered? Hopefully they don't have anything blasted information face side up on your doors... oh wait. They do that too. With colorful blue duct tape. So no privacy, or respect got it. Garbages are gross and pile up. Believe every one star or complaint, definitely gives avenue5 property a bad name. Shame shame. read more

Brooooo . I'm a be real right now, I didn't even have Yelp before this. I'm not gonna go into specifics but the staff is not helpful, lack communication with each other and I've had multiple Interactions with the staff and every time I left those interactions they were negative. The staff lacked knowledge and gave inconsistent instructions. I haven't raged that hard since I was an angsty teenager. read more

Great and professional staffing. Fully satisfied with my apartment. Anavel the leasing agent gave a wonderful tour

parking is possibly the worst thing I have ever experience. Maintenance is terrible at their job. Would not recommend

Horrible horrible management. Where do I even start? When we first moved in we were lied to and told they would pressure wash our patio and front door way as they just got done doing dry wall work. That was 6 months ago and we still have spider webs and dry wall mud all over the place. we are numerous issues with the unit itself starting with the poor plumbing, cabinets broken, missing filters to the air condition, paint all over things (toilet, sink, counters). The maintenance does an absolute jimmy of a job. They left parts and pieces of our sink all over the place and left for the day. They remodel neighboring units leaving trash on patios, appliances such as microwaves and fridges outside for days on end. Parking is atrocious, I pay for a covered spot only to have random people park in the covered spots next to me and ding my car. Have even had people steal my spot(towing was possibly but after 5 months the office never called about my towing card). Kids play in the parking lots riding bikes right in front of people driving. read more

It has been 7 years since I walked away from Crosspointe. I did not have many problems with my apartment. The issue I had was with the service. I just received a response from a review I wrote 7 years ago and it says hi Jose, I guess they just had to write something to say they responded. The office staff was never in the office, The gym was usually locked and the key you did have would not grant you access to the gym. The gym is an amenity that you paid for when I lived there. When I received a package I would have to try and catch someone in the office to receive my packages. I never went back for my deposit because it was not worth the headache of trying to get it back. I paid for covered parking but if I was gone when the parking lot was filled people would park in my paid space and I could not have the cars removed because I was not an authorized person for the tow company. I did take before and after photos to show that I left my apartment better than when I moved in. I believe the issues I present are valid and should be addressed. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! I repeat, DO NOT RENT HERE! I read all these terrible reviews before I moved here and thought "It can't possibly be that bad." Well, it is! There are SO many nicer, better managed apartments in the Tri-cities at similar price points. Where do I begin...I was told I could move into my apartment on a certain day, I had paid my deposit and application fee, been approved and everything. I show up the morning of my move-in date and they tell me "Oops, sorry. It hasn't been cleaned yet." I should have known right then and there that the management here is incompetent. I eventually move in and a couple days after that the floor of my spare bedroom is flooded by the water heater and my freezer is leaking and freezing everything in my refrigerator. So that was a nice welcoming gift. After living here a few months I go out to my car to find it had been TOWED. I wasn't parked in a handicap or covered parking spot. When I go down to the office to find out what the hell happened with my car, I'm told by Brandy (the rudest, most vile manager you will ever meet. Who double parks her own car every single day) that my car was parked on the line of the parking space and was impeding the spot next to it. When I picked up my car from the towing company I demanded to see the photos. My car was slightly on the line, but the parking spot I was supposedly impeding had a huge F250 Ford TRUCK parked in it! How am I impeding the spot next to me when a truck is able to still park there? A few weeks later I get a call around 3pm that my music is too loud. I was cleaning my house, I had my windows open, and it was turned up but not to the point were it should be bothering anyone at 3pm. I told them that I feel as if they are targeting me and to stop harassing me. The quiet hours are from 9pm-9am. Playing music at 3pm shouldn't result in an aggressive phone call. Especially when they will do lawn/tree maintenance at 7:45am. They expect the residents to follow the rules, but management and maintenance do as they please. Also, they do annual "inspections" for HUD (regardless of if you participate in the HUD program) and they expect for you to be okay with them entering your apartment for a week straight anytime from 8am-6pm. So I hope you're okay with strangers entering your home when you're not there. What else? There is never any parking. The hottub is almost always "closed for maintenance" for months at a time. Brandy the manager needs to be fired, you can read about her on almost every other review. No one cleans up after their dogs poop. Your car is always going to be covered in sap and debris from the trees they never rake or take care of. If it's missing, it's because they towed it. Your apartment will shake every hour from the train tracks right behind the complex. The list goes on and on... I'm a good resident. I don't have loud children, I don't have parties, my dog doesn't bark constantly, I pay my bills on time, I'm quiet. But in this complex, none of that matters to the managers on a power trip. Find a different apartment and don't put yourself through this. Also, it doesn't matter how well you clean your apartment when you move out or if you even hire a professional to do it, you will be paying a $255 cleaning, carpet, and painting fee. Ridiculous. read more

I can't imagine living somewhere better! My apartment complex is truly a community. The managers here have gone above and beyond to get me into one of their homes and to maintain a professional relationship that is mutually beneficial. I have had to call for maintenance a couple of times and within the hour have had a resolution (one time a new refrigerator in less than an hour. Another time they had a company come out and suction hose clean the entire dryer ventilation unit that quickly.) They are REAL people and they take their job seriously. They always say, "This is our job, our career, it's our duty to find you the best home for you." My apartment is modern (all appliances are modern, maintained, and are of a better caliper than you would find in most places. i.e. the washer has tons of selections.) We have a wood burning fireplaces with modern tile hearths and glass double closure doors. The carpets are kept clean and vacuum up nicely. The double walk in closet in the master bedroom is exceptional. The bathrooms are spacious and there is a linen closet in the master. There are no light fixtures in the bedroom so you would need lamps. The back porch is spacious and private. Storage on the back porch is spacious. We are right by the mall and many, many restaurants, yet tucked into a tree patch. They offer covered parking for an extra fee, tanning, a swimming pool, a 24 hour fitness center, and garages. There does seem to be a need for a few more parking spaces, though. I believe there is a basketball court, as well. The apartments are well insulated and I haven't heard anyone else from within mine. It's quiet here, also. read more

Get real with the rent prices. It's the Tri-Cities. Train shaking the apartment is fun? Dog friendly but NO human picks up their animal feces. Forget the light switches, not sure why they exist. Buy lamps! YAY! Who loves a light switch that serves ZERO purpose. Forget parking your car, unless you pay a fee for a covered spot. read more

My experience went from nice place to live, to four years later what a joke of a place to live. The owners they have now would be shocked by the way the apartments are taken care of when they don't visit. The trash is always overflowing and there's dog poop everywhere and the folks who pick theirs up that trash never gets emptied. The woman who is supposed to be the manager is so non professional and really is not a good manager. My son's car sat in one of the open car parking spots and she said it s t too long and was considered abandond so she had it towed, funny thing my son's phone number and mine were posted in the back window. We got no call to say could you move it. The neighbors called me and told me. You also pay a utilities fee on top of your rent but when I moved and they took $198.00 of my deposit for utility fees saying were always 2 and one half months behind. I moved Aug. 31st and paid for half on Jun. and all of Jul. and Aug. ulitiy fee's. The first year I lived there I didn't pay it but the second lease I paid the utility fee the first month so I suspose I was being charged for two and a half months of fees from my former lease. You can put a bow on a pig but its still a pig. Just a FYI Tristan is the best part of their front office. read more

Laurel Z. I have called your number, the same bogus response I got when I lived in these apartments is what I'm getting now. I stand by my statement, these apartments need new management. read more

The management of this apartment is 100% garbage. You have to complain over and over about something not working for them to even consider helping you. I have a pregnant fiancé who's due any day and when we call to tell them about our furnace not working they didn't send someone out until we called multiple times. When they did answer their response was "it's not hot so this isn't urgent". So why am I paying full rent for a place that comes with air conditioning when the air conditioning isn't working? If you really care about the people who live in your apartment complex you'd retrain who manages the complex or find a new manager who really cares about the people that you say you care about. The management you have right now only cares about them self's and when the best time suits them for them to help your residents. I and everyone else on here seem to agree that management is what's ruining a great place to live due to them not caring at all. Crosspointe Apartments Management could be the worst in Tri- Cities, Washington. read more

Whoever says that The Crosspointe Apartments are safe or a good place to live, they are either a crackhead or just don't care of the landlord breaking the contract that it says specifically it is a non-smoking community. Wrong! Just about everyone that I saw when I was there either smoked marijuana, or some kind of drug, cigarettes, or are drug dealers, and use the children to do their dirty deeds. Contacted KPD advised the office and no one cares to investigate these people. the office takes your money for themselves and says you didn't pay. At the end of your stay when you leave they will not do a proper walk through and if they do they will still charge you tons of additional fees. We were given a dirty apartment and left it cleaner than how it was given. They sent us to collections without even attempting once to reach out. I could go on but good luck and see for yourself if you move in. Watch/Protect your children unless you are a careless parent like those already living there. read more

I would like to thank Crosspointe apts for their professionalism and dedication. It's always a pleasure working with the Crosspointe team as they are kind, friendly and accommodating. We appreciate your business and look forward to any future endeavors with SPR. read more

This is all my opinion, I'm speaking from my experience. Terrible management and terrible neighbors. I used to love living here but I can't wait to move out. The downstairs neighbor is always complaining about noise and he is always calling in on me when I live alone and have nothing going on. The staff is never in the office when I need to talk to them and they never answer the phones. I leave numerous messages but no one follows up on them. The manager, or "owner" or whatever you call that, has been rude over the phone to me. She talks over me when I am trying to explain things to her. I ask her questions and she never fully answers me. She always repeats what she says and thinks that is the answer to everything. She gives me the run around. I don't know what I have done to cause her to treat me badly. She claims that all my neighbors have called in to complain about me being "noisy" but when I ask her what she means, she threatens me with eviction. When I first moved in, they claimed my rent wouldn't jump and guess what, it has. These people are crooked and don't take their job seriously. DO NOT MOVE HERE! SAVE YOURSELF! read more

This is by far one of the best places ive ever rented at. Brandy and Trista have been nothing but professional and kind. I lost my rent check and Brandy did everything she could to work with me until I was able to get a refund. The property itself is very nice. I enjoy all the trees and I have really nice neighbors. They do a good job maintaining the property even while cutting down the trees that are causing damage. I would recommend this property to anyone. read more

Management is very poor, they say the pool will be open on a certain day and no one puts a note why it is close, they make up so many excuses, because the top maintenance guy Lee doesn't like to deal with the pool and always smells like booze, but when it come to closing it at the end of summer they close it early, I think that is wrong,Kate just say that she will deal with the problem but doesn't go thur, lets him do what ever, this place is just going down ,many tenets that I have talk to say the same thing's about the management, we all pay very high rent here to have good service but its just a put down ,with the management and the head maintenance man Lee. They should just get someone else if he does not want to do it right, just retire the old fart he is just worthless. read more

This place is the worst place to live. Some people may like it but we don't. At least living in the ghetto you know what your getting into. But with these apartments they look good on the outside. The outside is some what picked up, there is dog pop every where, they have sections threw out the properties to take your animals, staff don't refill the doggy bags. In the gym they have a water cooler always empty, I guess it's there to impress new residents. The management smokes outside the back door and flicks the but over the fence into the pool area. They are never in the office and rarely answer the phone. Our rent is a set amount yet month to month it changes, that's not including the utility statement of water sewer garbage and electricity, mind you we pay Benton PUD for our electricity. There is hidden fees every where. I wouldn't recommend living here to anyone. Do yourself a favor get a refrigerator box and live under a bridge before you try living here. My review would be negative if I could give one. read more

by far the worst business establishment iv ever dealt with.. hmm where to even begin. we moved from portland and rented the apartment sight unseen taking for granted the website pictures & "luxury" apartment name. never have i been so disapointed. i burst into tears when i first walked in.. they called when we were almost there (even though we called the night before to verify our move in arrangements & time) and said that the carpets had not been cleaned yet and we would have to wait to move in. i have 2 kids under 2 1/2 and they offered no apology or hotel arrangements. when we pulled in the carpet guy was just getting there and we did indeed have to wait.. upon arrival we were horrified not only at the condition of the carpet wich even after cleaning resembled something that might have come out of iraq. there were nasty large black stains all over every room. the dishwasher didnt work, the garbage disposal wouldnt even turn on,there was a major leak under the kitchen sink, there was mold inside the fridge, the clothes dryer didnt work and the list goes on. when we signed our papers they told us that the rent was 75 dollars then listed on the add we originally responded too and that you have to pay $30 per parking spot. we moved in on a saturday and all the non working appliances and the leak under the sink was not considered priority and nobody came to fix any of it till tuesday and 3 phone calls later. it took them 3 months to put in a new dryer. they just kept sending up different maintenance guys who glanced at it and said there wasnt anything wrong with it. ha! im the one who cant dry my clothes fools. the nasty overly bronzed bleach blonds in short skirts that run the office are never in even though the sign says its open, they never return messages since it would be a miracle to have somebody actually answer the phone. they strut around in their 8 inch stilletos like being a appartment manager is equal to the president of the usa. all our neighbors had large dogs who barked constantly and it took 3 weeks and 5 phone calls and many interupted naps for my kids before they sent the neighbor a notice about the barking. nobody there picks up after their dogs poop so my kids couldnt even play out on the grass. after 4 months we had had enough & politely tried to speak to the manager about breaking out lease so we could move. she basically demanded that my husband get out of her office & that she didnt care about us or any of the problems we have with the place. we then called the corporate office & left numerous messages for that manager who ( surprise) never called us back. my husband left a final message for corporate saying if he didnt receive a call back that we would take legal action to see them closed down. exactly 2 minuts later the assistant called back saying we were approved to move and break our lease. we did. we of course got screwed out of any deposite money but at this pointe we are just glad to be out of there. we now live in a beautiful 5 bedroom 2900 sq ft house in west pasco and are SAVING $300 bucks a month. dont live here its insanely expensive and absolutely discusting read more
