I am truly sorry to say that I exposed my innocent 5 year old child to some of the most in-Christian "Christians" in the Universe. This was some time ago, maybe the school has improved, but let me telly you may experience. In good faith, I enrolled my son in a "Christian" school, hoping that he would have the experiences I had in Catholic school...strong academi, strong role models and kind but strict teachers.
Nope.
The kindergarten teacher my son was exposed to was most definitely not a follower of Christ. Christ taught to include rather than exclude. To be kind and accepting, not mean an judgmental. Melissa, I believe her name was. She was terrible. She bullied and belittled my child to the point where he would come home crying. She then threw him out of class saying he was not cutting it in kindergarten. SHE DID HIM A FAVOR. He went to a local school, Cougar Valley after that, where he had one of his best school experiences. Mrs. W was truly a kind, compassionate follower of Christ, unlike Melissa from King's West. Through her kindness and patience he survived kindergarten.
