It was a little bit more expensive than blink but I was willing to play the price because it was a 24-hour gym and it was close to my house. I did notice that the gym looked a little bit older and less modernized than blink fitness but I was happy enough to just find a gym close to my house. I noticed several things after being a member for about a month now. 1) Just tonight several hours ago, I brought my own water but half was full and I was going to refill it and I noticed the gym fountains water spouts had mold/rust on it. Being in the military and having lived in the barracks that have had mold in it it's really a health risk and can make someone sick. To have mold means that those fountains have been neglected cleaning. Anybody who has cleaned a water fountain would be able to notice that. 2) The gym equipment is relatively kind of old and like others said, not maintained enough. The treadmill looks old and I miss the blink fitness treadmills, which even included a built in fan. 3) I in the men's restroom, they have those portable hand dryers that are motion sensored, but they can't have motion sensored urinals and sinks? I hate touching things and nobody bothers to flush the urinal because you have to touch the handle so when you go to the urinal it reeks the of pee. 4. The most expensive thing I think is the personal trainer. The training sessions are once a week and over $100 I think it's $140 for a personal trainer, once a month. I think that's a little too much for once a week for a month if you ask me. I would have considered if it was $100 a month for once a week, maybe... Whole my experience was only one class with Angela, it was top notch and I went home feeling great. She followed up with my visit, and I was very happy. Unfortunately for me The class time didn't work well with my schedule. I also looked into private training but unfortunately it was a little pricey for me. This location has the best benches with the wide seats and mid sections instead of just straight line benches. In addition, I prefer the wide open format as opposed to the multi floor levels in some places. I'd say whoever is giving negative reviews are being overly critical. The only negative I'd say is that this location is not 24/7 on weekends.

I think the TBE to be help with lower back stiffness. It is also supposed to help with skin-tone and cellulite. I followed this by weight lifting for 45 mins. Most of the standard equipment was available. I did notice this equipment is older than most PFs and lower weight capacity on some machines. all-in-all good experience. I was even able to enjoy a deep tissue massage before heading on with my day.

There was no way to have full coverage so I ended up doing a little dance to stay hidden the whole time I showered. I don't think many use the showers so it wasn't like I was seen by anyone, thankfully. They do not offer towels, so bring your own for showering! They offer some good classes with nice variety too- arrive early to guarantee your spot! (You will get a colored ticket to claim your spot in class). The fitness studios, though, get way too cramped due to the popularity of classes. I would think they should just offer less tickets to class or try to move them to one of the park district studio areas or basketball court! It's a great place overall and a great deal on price per month too.

If that had been explained, I would have never agreed. I work in sales this is not ethical and absolutely feels deceptive. When I asked for a refund after barely using sessions, I was flat-out refused and told not to bother contacting corporate. Huge red flag. On top of that, constant upselling, pressure tactics, and pushing guest passes after I said no. I do NOT recommend the personal training sessions at all. Read everything carefully and do not let them rush you. Once they lock you into a contract, they will not help you.

It's clean, has lots of cardio equipment, strength equipment and great classes. I've taken 2 HIIT classes so far and they were well taught and targeted the entire body. I was so sore after them but it's exactly what I was hoping for. In addition to the equipment, there's also a running track, a basketball gym and a sauna. Right next door there is also a cafe. I haven't tried anything there but it looks nice. For the most part parking is easy to find, either on the street in front of the lot just east of the facility. One of the best aspects of the gym is the value. For my husband and I, it's only $25/mo for autopay. We love working out at LCFC!!

My elderly parent goes to the fitness center for seniors and doctor orders. Of course there's…read morepeople that come into the sauna selling things, at the workout equipment selling things. This is so not right, they are preying on the elderly and probably watching their every move. I feel one day they will approach them outside and try to rob them. I will report this to the powers that be. Be careful sending your elderly parents there, as they not protected from drifters. I will have him go to a decent area fitness center where they keep an eye on suspicious activity. I will contact the Alderman and Mayor's office, hopefully they can do something.
