Not only is it sad that he does not know for sure, since he did put me on hold for 5 minutes to find out the price which he is supposed to know, but it is also sad and unphathomable that someone would pay "roughly" $135 a month to workout at a gym for only a month, when so many others are more 60% cheaper for the same month-to-month contract with the same amenities. In all seriousness, I just think he got upset at me because I would not commit to a yearly membership on the phone without first setting foot inside the gym. He seemed like he was intentionally trying to get me NOT to sign up for whatever reason, so the price he gave probably was not the real price, but an extremely bloated amount. Regardless, the customer service at this place, solely due to Gideon, is atrocious!

From day one, Rob (Bobby), the owner, found ways to accommodate my circumstances by scaling or finding different means of accomplishing the goals that I set for myself. Full disclosure: I had been to other Crossfit gyms before settling on this one. The reason why I stuck with CrossFit 631 Redwood's, in comparison to others, is Bobby's knowledge and ability to accommodate, and the people who go. The culture at the gym is great and the members are super welcoming. I've made friends and connections that I'm sure that I'll have for a life time.

Yes, you can go to one of those other $10/month gyms, but you WON'T be getting the excellence in coaching or the stimulating workouts that produce measurable improvements in strength and endurance so quickly as Port CrossFit does. Those cheaper gyms WILL give you plenty of opportunity to watch folks scrolling on their phones as they sit on isolation machines between sets, making you wait for your turn and your workout takes that much longer. At PortCrossFit, everyone in class does the same workout, with slight differences scaled for people with different fitness levels/abilities, and so everyone gets strength training and cardio in one shot, within an hour. Efficient! People cheer each other on and the coaches offer helpful tips to improve technique, and workouts are never repeated. PortCrossFit has given me everything I need: An efficient workout that takes care of my strength training and cardio in one hour (so important for my busy schedule), a stimulating workout that never gets boring (so I stay motivated and eager to keep going), and friendly coaches and students that are a pleasure to work out with. If you've been frustrated with previous attempts at getting fit and you think it may be time to try something different, something that gives tangible results based on proven methods, with real science backing its methods up, give PortCrossFit a chance to help you finally achieve your goals. You'll probably wish you'd heard of it sooner!!

The coaching team took a structured, personalized approach, assessing my movement patterns and building a custom program tailored to my goals. They corrected long-standing habits in my lifting technique and body positioning, providing clear, practical feedback that made an immediate difference. They also emphasized key fundamentals like progressive overload, proper recovery, and the importance of rest--giving me a better understanding of how to train effectively. After working with them, I've streamlined my workouts and now get better results in about 45 minutes. My mobility and strength have both improved, and I feel more confident and in control of my training. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a more focused, results-driven approach to fitness.

Firstly the space is very big and super clean. Everyone in the gym respects each others space and the next people that will arrive. They are always wiping down the weights, bars, pads, ect. Basically anything that might be touched gets wiped down. The office is clean and organized. They have refreshments for sale. They always have hand sanitizer available. There's a bathroom to wash your hands and wipe off. They have the space sectioned for covid which is great. The work out area is huge and has everything you need for your work out. They have lots of parking and an easy online sign in app. The work outs are great and intense. They have a strength portion and hiit portion which I love. I love that you get a mix of both and they are not overly pushy about increasing weight. They always take time to demonstrate the moves. They constantly walk around to ensure form is followed correctly. They encourage you to give it your all but they don't put you down for going at a level your comfortable in. The music is really good and motivating. The classes are affordable and you can choose a variety of packages to fit your budget/ lifestyle. I highly recommend checking them out. They are absolutely fantastic. Also say hi to Minnie the office mascot.
