I received personal training from Amy and also attended group classes led by both coaches as well. Both trainers are kind and approachable--no drill sergeant mentality. They will meet you where you are in your fitness journey. In classes, although it is a group setting both coaches do an amazing job at keeping a pulse on each individual. In group classes, Kurt seemed to be aware of and know each person so though you were in a group setting, it felt like a private session because you got individual attention! The man is a plethora of knowledge in any aspect pertaining to health wellness and fitness! I also appreciated Kurt's generous feedback and recognition if he ever was in the gym or even walking by during a personal training session with Amy. Amy was my personal trainer and I saw her twice weekly. She is hands down the best personal trainer I've ever had and she became a friend over time. I appreciated how validating Amy was--if something doesn't feel right or if I was confused or overwhelmed, Amy was right there ready willing and able to coach me through it by explaining, demonstrating, or even encouraging. She gets to know you and your individual needs and your personal goals...knows just how far she can push you safely. I left my sessions feeling empowered and successful. Amy also encouraging you to listen to your body and share any concerns so she can help you find solutions whether it be modifications, additional exercises or stretches. Amy came prepared and had a plan for every single one of my sessions having considered what we accomplished previously, where we are heading, considering recommendations my chiropractor from next door gave her, and investing her own personal time outside of our sessions ahead of time to create the right plan just for me. She planned my individual workout for me and I saw her commitment and dedication in doing the same for every single one of her clients. Her availability and followup were impeccable--only a text away, understanding, and never annoyed, distracted, or too busy. My experience at Profitness with Amy & Kurt has been life changing. I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for about a year. I initially created an account online and…read morewas told by an online representative that I needed to schedule an in-person appointment to activate my membership and key fob. I scheduled the appointment, and when I went in person, Maggie signed me up for a second membership without informing me that this was happening. I was under the impression that I was simply activating the membership I had already started online. As a result, I've been charged double for the past nine months. This entire situation stems from a lack of communication on their end--both when scheduling my in-person appointment and in failing to inform me that I had a duplicate account. When I finally realized the error and brought it to their attention, they only offered to credit me $300 of the $600 I've paid extra on the duplicate account, with no additional refund to cover the full amount. This is an unfortunate oversight, but instead of taking accountability for their mistake, Anytime Fitness has refused to help me reach a fair and reasonable resolution. Their unwillingness to fully refund the amount they overcharged shows a blatant disregard for their customers' trust and satisfaction. This experience has made it clear that Anytime Fitness cannot be trusted to properly manage memberships or resolve issues in a fair manner. It's disappointing to see that they care more about keeping extra profits than treating their members with the respect and transparency they deserve. I would strongly caution anyone considering a membership here, as this gym has proven they do not truly care for their members or their well-being.

The guy who answered the phone said he couldn't do that and said I would have to talk to a manager. Well before I could ask when the manger was going to in there, he hung up on me. I tried to call back, and he wouldn't answer the phone. I let the phone ring for several minutes and I heard someone pick up. I said hello, and he hung up again! HOW RUDE!!!! Since when do you treat a member like that? It seems that they are too busy sitting on their a$$ reading and being on their phones instead of taking care of the members and cleaning the disgusting shower stalls in there. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! The excellent maintenance ensures that all equipment is impeccable and greatly enhancing the overall gym experience. There is a lot of space and more than enough weights that you won't be waiting for them. The trainers are some of the best in the city. This fitness center allows me to focus on my training because there's no pretense, no need for "cool" workout clothing, age is not a deterrent. My level of fitness and my goals are 100% respected. Unlike most gyms, almost all of the members here actually are on friendly terms and you'll probably be greeted by name at the door. This also holds me accountable to show up and keep me on my health goals. Its so easy to give up but this place gives you that extra push to keep going. I need that and I am so appreciative that this gym and all the staff and members are such good people. Just meet the Owner Jason and you will understand. This is a gym that you should visit just one time. Once you walk in, you will understand what I am talking about. It is different (in a good way) then all the others.
