The gym is clean (I've personally watched Jorge clean it), bathrooms are spotless, equipment is new and in great shape. As a trainer Jorge is a great listener and tailors workouts to your goals and limits. I have limitations due to back issues and he really thinks out of the box on workouts that will give me great results without straining my back. He has questionable taste in music some days (hahahaha just kidding Jorge), but will always make your training session fun and upbeat. The gym is family run (Hi Kim & Sandra) and they all just bring happy, positive vibes to the facility, front office and to your workouts. I definitely recommend the Saturday 9am bootcamp class, it's a great group and a fun, motivating, energizing way to start the weekend. If you're looking to join a fun gym family and also make positive fitness changes - I would suggest 5G.

Over the past few weeks, the culture has noticeably shifted in the right direction. Long-time members and new patrons alike have commented on how the environment feels less cliquish and more genuinely welcoming, and that feedback has been stated consistently in recent comments. Walking into The Camp today feels refreshing. Instead of an exclusive or intimidating atmosphere, the space is filled with honest, encouraging people -- trainers and members alike -- who genuinely want you to succeed. Smiles aren't forced; you see them at check-in and again at check-out. Newcomers often mention how approachable and friendly the team is, from coaches greeting you by name to fellow members cheering you on during classes. What stands out most is the emphasis on integrity and community. It's no accident that folks who had options elsewhere keep coming back -- they consistently highlight the supportive environment and team-first approach as reasons to stick with it. Members report feeling part of a true "Awesome Fit Family," where honesty, encouragement, and shared goals create a culture that feels less like a gym and more like a community. In short, The Camp San Bernardino isn't just about workouts anymore. It's about accountability, positivity, and meaningful interactions. People walk in with a goal and leave with momentum -- and a smile. If culture and environment matter to you as much as results, this place delivers on both.

My husband and I were…read morelooking for a workout that fulfilled his want of strength training and my want of group fitness/ HIIT classes. After looking all over Google and Yelp, I found Kindle. We did our 3 day trial and we were extremely humbled by the workout, but wow it was exhilarating! We immediately signed up for both of us to be members. What stood out to us in those three days were the format of strength and conditioning, but also the intense care and eye of the coaches. I thought I knew how to do a deadlift, but with Coach Broc, I learned that boy was I wrong! The workouts are intentional to build our strength in the strength portion and I genuinely have never been stronger in my life. We have hit personal records, one after the other, with the careful coaching from the coaches here. Coach Sina, Sara, Broc, Victor, and Chris really make you feel accomplished and safe when learning new moves (trust me, I am a mega beginner at lifting)! I now feel more confident in what I can do and I have seen such drastic changes in my mental and physical health. Not even a year in, my husband and I signed up to do singles DEKA Mile. If you asked me a year ago what that was, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. We invited our parents and our close friends and they were so amazed by what we had accomplished. I was so nervous going into it, but all of the workouts and coaching made it possible for my husband and I to finish in sub 40 minutes! (what a feat for a beginner if you ask me) Genuinely, this is the best choice that I have ever made for my husband and I. We have such a loving and caring community through Kindle and have made some lifelong friends that truly care about us. Without noticing, this place became our third space and we both are so grateful to everyone there. There's one thing you will never regret, investing in your mind and body!
