When I first started there you can tell right away that if you weren't a part of the in group none of the coaches or experience people give a f*** about you. As time went on and I try to make friends the special group seem to get more special as coaches really only cared for them. Not to mention that I hadn't been there for a whole year and the owners Alex and Sylvie gossip about personal finances and your personal information to other members of the gym. I wouldn't recommend unless you're a top CrossFit athlete in Colorado because you're not going to get the love like those ones who are at the top do. Not to mention who wants to be around a group of people who just talk s*** about each other if you're not in the end group I mean they don't even sit with you when you guys do team dinners and group outings. Also if you have an issue with a coach like many of us have they'll talk s*** to you like it's your issue and not the coach's fault even though many people have brought up issues about particular coaches in their gym. Not recommended for many if you're looking for a good community gym their community only insist in the people who are good at their gym. read more

The owners, Alex and Silvie, are very down to earth and approachable. They are knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. They're willing to scale workouts for people of different ages and abilities so anyone can achieve their fitness goals. Anyone can work out here, the clientele ranges from young teens to seniors. Their rates are flexible and reasonable. I went to one of Silvie's classes for my first WOD, and she was really patient in explaining things that I didn't understand and helping me out with my technique on some of the weight lifts. She'd work out along with me, which is encouraging! She really helped making that first workout a great experience. Since it was my first time trying crossfit, it was all new to me and I felt nervous upon my arrival, as I didn't know what to expect. If you're also like me, I can now tell you that there's no need to worry about your performance or strength. When I went there, I saw how each person is focusing on their own workout, and your instructor will periodically observe your performance to guide you and prevent injury. The only competition you have is yourself, because you only compare your current workout with your previous one. You can start with bodyweight and work your way up. If you're ready to start your fitness journey, this is also a great place to start. Just remember to take your BEFORE pictures. :) This gym is a great place where you'd enjoy working out at. It's neat and clean, it seems small but it has plenty of room to work out. They are well-equipped with weights and strength training equipment. What I also like about this gym is: They have a little kitchen with a sink, fridge and coffee maker in case you need to store your pre or post workout drinks/foods or need the morning pick-me-up. It has a private bathroom with a shower stall, which is perfect for those with a tight schedule and need a place to change into gym clothes beforehand or need to shower and change after the workout. (I'd recommend bringing your own towel & travel shower set for personal use.) BONUS: If you have kids, don't worry about finding a babysitter because you can bring your kid(s). They have a play area for kids upstairs. Nearby, there is also a working desk and chair if your kid needs to do homework or etc. There are comfy leather couches upstairs as well for whoever wants to come and observe. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for something challenging and different but still wants to meet high fitness goals. I can't wait to come back again and again! :) read more

Phenomenal box!! If you are TDY to Peterson, this is the place to go. I travel a bit and go to different boxes every time and this is def a good one. Wish I lived here! I am in the US military and found this great Box just outside Peterson AFB. I had never done Crossfit and wanted to give it a try. I want to say from the first time I went in I felt comfortable with the owners and coaches and all the members. They have such a friendly family atmosphere there. I didn't know what I was doing and the fundamental classes showed me all the proper movements and also talked greatly about nutrition. The classes were great and made me feel so comfortable when trying my first workout of the day. The coaches are amazing and help push me to become better!! All in all this is an amazing place and being in the military and moving around a lot sure helps to have a place with such friendly people! The gym is awesome and so much room to work in !! I bought the Groupon for this gym to try Crossfit out for the first time and I will not be joining it. I thought Alex was very caring and interested in me learning how to do the techniques correctly. I learned more with him being my coach in one session than the rest of the month with Silvie. Silvie was more interested in socializing with other members, being on her cellphone, or painting the gym than watching me (even when I was the only one there) to make sure I was doing the techniques correctly. She never explained to me what all those acronyms meant full well knowing that I had never done Crossfit before, I had to ask for one every single time.She never explained to me what a typical Crossfit class entailed (warmup, skill, WOD), I had to figure out a lot on my own or ask for explanations all the time. The second to last class I went to was really the worst one cuz I did so terrible and I was the only one there. I sat down after I was done with the WOD and Silvie did not come up to me to offer me critiques or encouragement, she just went over and talked to a member who had just shown up. I didn't finish the month of the Groupon I paid for because the last class I went to it was the same thing. I was the only one there and Silvie was doing other things besides coaching me. Then we talked about my diet and for some reason she got mad at me and yelled at me "If you stay at Gold's gym, you'd better add cardio to your workout!". I left and didn't finish my month off. However I did think most of the other members were friendly and helpful without even being asked. If you do go to this gym and are new to Crossfit, I would suggest you stick with Alex because he is a great teacher. read more
