I said I might want a membership but want to try the gym; he then said after the awkward silence...well you have to be interested after I told him what type of classes I liked that the gym didn't offer and asked him again abouth the free pass and he said well you have to be interested in the gym. They used to let you just walkin and enjoy the gym instead I was pushed into a sales conversation with an unfriendly Manager who didn't even know how to smile or have friendly conversation. I was disappointed and left. The memberships are very expensive and I stated that which made the conversation more awkward but I'm one to tell the truth. I would never join this gym because it was too expensive for what it had to offer; the only good part was that you could go to many locations if you didn't like the environment or have other features as an option which I dont think is enough for what they charge and with the somewhat ghost town like atmosphere which was not great. Nice equipment though for muscle heads and cardio too.

They say no contract but beware, they just call it an agreement to get around the contract designation. Way over priced for the dingy and dark atmosphere. No wireless for exercise music unless you are not tethered to a cord on a cardio machine or don't have your own hotspot for personal music work outs. Bring your own everything as nothing is provided for the high monthly rate. Many more cleaner and brighter facilities are available in the area. I'll go elsewhere thank you.

I have had my hair cut there and for pedicures. Today, I went for a fast pedicure and I had Sofia. As she was doing my service, I mentioned to her that my right toe hurt. She told me I had an ingrown toe nail and she had not touch it. Which is strange as she cut the toe nail and took care of the cuticle. I said, "It was not hurting when I arrived." When I was leaving, she my name is Sofia and NEVER book with me. I felt she was rude. As I was checking out, I was asked how my service was and I told them. The manager immediately said let me make this right for you. I told her I would pay for the service but she insisted. I will go back to the Ranch as it clean but I will stay away from Sofia as rudeness in my book is not acceptable.

I started the 6 weeks program after meeting with Kevin & writing down my goals. Coach Pam provided…read moreme with a nutritional plan to follow including a breakdown of daily consumption, foods to eat, foods to avoid, & a grocery list. The first week, I was logging in my daily meals on the Wodify app & Pam was giving me feedback as to what improvements to make to help me achieve my goals. As far as the nutrition went, this program took care of all questions. They also provided me with a cook book of recipes which included a protein pancake recipe that I have been eating every day for the past 3 weeks. It is full of protein, flavor, & keeps me from having to snack before lunch plus, it's a pancake yum! Other resources for nutrition included travel tips, meal prep, & restaurant cheat guide. As far as coaching & workouts, Coach Carter took time every day to design our workouts ahead so we could see the workouts before class so it takes the guessing & nervousness away. Once in class Coach Jenn, Coach Chandler, Coach Pam, and Coach Carter made sure to explain, demonstrate, & have us practice each movement before the workout. I like the amount of time we spent warming up & getting the right movements before the workout & how fun, do-able, yet challenging each workout was. It's not repetitive so you're constantly fighting the muscle memory. My most intimidating moment was flipping a 150lbs tire- I did it 15 times! Next workout, I went for a 170 lbs. tire- great full body workout. I didn't even know how much you can get out of a kettlebell until joining this program. I even bought my own to workout at home using the at home workout tips, exercises, & 7 minutes in heaven workout they provided for days I could not make it to class. First week, I felt as if this was beyond my capabilities. Working out 3 days a week felt very difficult, but by week 3, I completed 4-5 workout days in class. This is very do-able, you just have to believe that you can do it & put your all into it. Everything is scale, so you work at your own pace, but still challenging yourself. The progress really shows- by week 3 everyone in class was running the 200m and more than half was running 400m. The coaches have been awesome & very helpful. The Facebook group is phenomenal. Everyone is supportive- sharing recipes & coordinating workouts. I am much slimmer; lost 7.2 lbs. and 6.3% BMI which has made a huge difference for my shoulders, arms, and abdomen. It's a program that works if you do the work. Here is a log of my progress: 1st week- Monday April 16, starting weight: 116.6 lbs; BMI: 31.4% Worked out M, T, H, F. Ending weight on Friday April 20th 114 lbs. 2nd week- Thursday April 26, weight: 112.2 lbs; BMI: 27.4% - I had lost 4% BMI! Worked out M, T, W 3rd week- Friday May 4, weight: 113.8 lbs; BMI: 26.4%. I put some muscle weight! Worked out M, T, W, H, & F. 4th week- Friday May 11, weight: 113.2lbs; BMI: 25.1%. 6.3% BMI loss achieved! Worked out M, T, W, H, F. 5th week- Thursday May 17, weight: 110 lbs; BMI: 25.9%. Increased BMI :( Worked out: M, T, W, H. Out o 6th week- Monday May 21, weight: 109.8 lbs; BMI 25.1%. BMI back down, cut carbs from diet all together. Tuesday I weight in again: 109.4 lbs. Weight loss: 7.2 lbs BMI Loss: 6.3%
