Although she was very quiet, she was very focused and allowed me to have a relaxing experience. The receptionist was also very friendly. I was offered some infused water when I checked in and only waited for about 2 minutes. I just wanted a haircut so I started off by showing Paige two different pictures on my phone of something I was considering. I could tell she combined the two photos in her head before cutting my hair, and she only saw the photos for a couple seconds! Every haircut includes a wash, hot towel around your neck, scalp massage, hand/arm massage, and a neck and shoulder massage. You can opt out of anything, but I enjoyed the relaxation of it all. Also, the pricing is very competitive with other salons in the area, if not cheaper. After cutting, drying, and layering my hair she offered to straighten or curl my hair. She never seemed in a rush and made me feel great. I just wish she would have told me which products she was using in my hair, during the hand massage, and for the neck massage. She even sprayed something in my hair before drying it so now I'm curious what all she used and what they did. But I guess I could have asked. Overall, I have never loved a haircut so much the first day. I had a great experience at Pure Concepts and will be coming back next time.

Last visit 2 days later, the frontal lifted from ear to ear and since she will not return calls. Maybe SHE will never tell, but I will. SHE RIPPED ME OFF! Save your money and time. I know things happen so I gave her the opportunity to make revisions multiple times. This is my first experience with hair replacement but I have seen the results of other "specialist" in the field. I kept waiting to see that look on me. My bought hair is fabulous the tracks are tight and the hair lays perfectly. The frontal looks like a bad wig. No baby hair, no transitioning from forehead to full head of hair. This last visit, she taped and glued the frontal. The taped rolled up and the glue failed within 4 days. I do not sweat a lot and I have not done any working out since I got my hair (it costs too much to sweat it out exercising). When cleaning my forehead with alcohol (after the frontal glue failed) I found the edges around my ear was glued directly to my own hair, not to my scalp... MY HAIR. I have about 1/8 of my original hair and now she glued the frontal to my last bit of hair? I am making daily temporary repairs until I can find a competent and caring professional. Why do Black people continuously fail Black business patrons? We had an agreement you handle my hair needs and I will pay as we agreed. Now, you know that you performed so poorly that you cannot even address your failures? YOU should not be in business. You should not be allowed to continue to solicit business from the unknowing public unchecked. I read other reviews. We had vastly different experiences. I wish I shared their satisfaction but I don't. Buyer should ALWAYS beware and in this case forewarned. I think my interest should stay in the inner city with Sisters who do this all day, everday with plenty of pictures of current clients. Show up one day to watch them work on someone else. I paid far too much for this result and certainly this kind of customer service.....remember it is a "people business" serving the customer is primary.

I specifically asked her to do my hair right because I was going home to California. It was very important! She played me!! She can't do lace closures, the hair quality isn't that great and the unprofessionalism is mind blowing! NEVER. EVER AGAIN!!!! I bought the hair, closure and service for $450. First of all, OVERBOOKED!!! I waited over an hour for her to start! Then she had to run to beauty supply (she knew about this appt. prior, she should have had everything). Then she still had others waiting and still coming in so she RUSHED!!!! She even started half my head and had me waiting while she started others!!! All day process!!! When she was finally done, I told her the closure was already starting to shift back on one side. But....Because she was rushing and didn't care, she told me it was fine!!! The next day, it shifted like I knew it would!!! She told me she would have someone else fix it. The other girl, Bri saw the issue and did the best she could to fix it but she had her own client so she didn't have the time to fix it properly and being that my flight was the next day, I didn't have time to come back. Lord and behold, I get to Cali....and the whole closure shifts back!!!! It was Looking like a bad wig! I was LIVID AND EMBARRASSED! I had two family reunions! My pictures and selfies were so embarrassing! I wanted it out so I went to three salons in Cali... It was so poorly installed, 3 beauticians refused to take it out because they didn't wanna be responsible for hair loss!! I came back to Indy and told her about it, and she didn't care! She had no empathy!! Didn't apologize or anything! She had a rude tone like I was lying!! I still was trying to be cool. I asked her if she could just take it out....she had the NERVE to ask "what else was I getting done?!" TF! I told her nothing there, I just wanted it taken out! She then told me, she had to get something to eat so she didn't have time. She said she'll call when she was done eating! She never called!!! I called her multiple times. She didn't pick up the phone! Never returned my calls!!! I just paid someone else that was willing to take the risk to take it out when I shouldn't have had to pay anything!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! RUNNNNN!!! They need to invest in their craft and LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY INSTALL SOMETHING THEY'RE ADVERTISING AND SELLING!!
