Since we were added a large addition to the existing structure, we were concerned about continuity of the final project. She worked closely with us to incorporate all our concerns and requirements. The outcome was beautiful and we could not have been happier. Our second project was for the design of a lake cottage in the Pocono mountains. There were numerous restrictions concerning the property and of course we wanted to maximize the lake view. And again, we have a beautiful vacation home. All her work was done with a great deal of professionalism and attention to detail. We could not recommend her more.

A porch addition doesn't need to be build like Fort Knox, and when builder and building inspectors agree what it's an overkill, it truly sucks when one has to live in the mud for another extra few days to make adaptation to meet requirements that don't make sense. Not only speaking about the thousands of extra dollars. Also when additional printouts of drawings are not needed / requested by the homeowners-sending them and charging for them weeks later when it is after the fact and just a way to create more paper recycling, it doesn't help the mood. Next time we take another architects. We found some that were cheaper as well as more expensive architects. Maybe paying a little more upfront isn't a bad idea...

It started as a very basic idea, then Will and his team came back with a fantastic design and now a magnificent installed door that exceeded expectations... everything was taken into account - additional support for the heavy door, timing of the heavy door-swing for the pivot design; no stone was left unturned. Will approaches a project with a very inventive eye - to conform to a particular building code he manages to find a way that pushes the design forward, where others may stumble and sacrifice some of the design element. He is decisive and knowledgeable, with a very strong sense of clean design. Will renovated the Hotel Easton into the beautiful rooms and spaces you see there now - clean, functional, lovely. As you can imagine, this can be a rather stressful situation to be in when you consider that you will be spending hundreds of thousands of dollars or more. It is my unequivocal opinion that hiring oleksii and vanguard is the best single investment you can make throughout this process. Vanguard creates extremely detailed 3-dimensional representations of all of your spaces. I consider myself to be a person of pretty good taste, but having reviewed the images I realized I would have made many costly and disheartening mistakes if left to my own devices. As it goes now, I rely on Vanguard to create beautiful, functional, and unique designs and concepts for each area of the house. as I begin the construction phase, I know exactly what I will be getting and I couldn't be more excited.
