One star seems appropriate for this post office. It's located near Westgate Mall and Costco. I was…read morein their parking lot for about thirty minutes and was the only vehicle there. The traffic congestion is the likely reason I didn't see anyone else. Other than the fact that it appears abandoned, nothing stands out as being unique. It's just another snail mail setup. Caution is well advised making entry or an exit from here.

This post office sends my mail to a house that isn't even registered with my house number and I have been battling back and forth with Christy about it. Not only do they send my mail to the wrong house - they send me my neighbors mail and packages as well. I have gone back and forth for months saying the house down the street is receiving my mail (whom just moved) so because they moved they have been sending MY MAIL back to the sender. What does that mean? It means I don't get my package and I have to fight with the people I ordered from to get a refund. Four times. They have returned my mail to senders four times AFTER KNOWING who I am and where I live. It gets better. Christy promised me that she would HOLD MY MAIL at the post office and what happens? They send it off anyways (one of them to be returned to sender same day) and the other one I waste an hour at the post office for everyone to look dumbfounded about where my package is at. An hour later I get told that it's with a carrier, that her boss overrides what she says. If that's the case, don't promise someone you'll hold their mail for it to be in the air. The best part is that they want me to "prove" that my address is the address that is has. I was sent off with a piece of paper with a phone number to reach the manager which coincidentally "is out of order."

This is a pretty bad post office, which is disappointing because considering its location, size,…read moreand historical significance, it should theoretically serve as the model for all the post offices in the metropolitan area. I've come here many times to try and buy stamps, and I don't think there's been one (1) time where they've had a full sheet of stamps for me to buy. They either have a half-sheet, 2-3 individual stamps, or direct me to use the kiosk, which I don't like doing. Second, a lot of the times when I try to use the drive-up blue collection box, it's stuffed full to the point of being impossible to even put mail into it. Finally, and perhaps most frustratingly, I had to mail something off after work one day, and dropped it in the outside blue box at 4:58 p.m., just in time for them to come out and collect it. Well, because it was an important piece of mail, I waited in my car for about thirty (30) minutes to make sure that they were going to collect it, and nobody ever came out to pick it up. So, as a result, it's going to look like I did not mail it out in time, when in reality, I rushed to the post office to make sure I got it off in time. The only thing that saves this office from a one-star review is that as a big fan of both minimalist and brutalist architecture, I love the aesthetic of the building. At first glance, it looks kind of ugly, but it gradually grows on you, and has become a signature part of the city's skyline. I just wish that I could say the same about the quality of service. While this post office might be the most accessible to most people, I would try to find a different location, even if it's a little less convenient, if you're able.
