At 230 pm no action had been taken, except checking vitals. At this point I asked what was taking so long, and was told the doctor got held up in traffic, and it shouldn't be much longer. At 3:00 I asked again and was told that it would be 10 minutes. I assured them if nothing happened in 10 minutes I would be leaving. At 3:10 I left and tossed my id band on the counter, and some bald headed man wearing green scrubs told me he didn't appreciate that, and he don't work there and don't be mad with him. He was behind a counter using a computer, but he don't work there? He then came out to the parking lot and made threats of physical violence against me. So in summary, this place does not care about the patients, and will allow someone who don't work there access their computer network, and make threats to patients. This was on June 12 2023 and perhaps this clinic should review video footage and deal with the trespassing person making threats. I doubt your medical records are safe here, and there is no way I would return to this place. Obviously they knew they were hours behind, and they could have made a simple phone call to tell me to just come a couple hours later. This was a complete waste of 9 hours of my day

I called to get an appointment with Dr. Arrington & they said it would be 2 months unless someone cancelled or I saw another doctor. I was set up to see Dr. Abell who gave me a cortisone shot in the knee & X-ray showing lots of arthritis. He only gave a few mild pain pills even though I explained how much pain I was in & couldn't sleep at night because my leg ached all night & could not sleep. I called back to the office to ask for more pain medicine & he refused. Since I was an established patient & Dr. Arrington had replaced my hip in 2017 I called his nurse to see if I could get enough pain medicine until he could see me. Both doctors refused. Dr. Abell said he had DONE ME A FAVOR TO SEE ME. If this is so the $50 co-pay should be returned to me & any monies my insurance company paid for visit or X-rays. Very presumptous on his part to claim he had "done me a favor" for a visit I PAID FOR. I WILL NOT GO TO DR. ABELL OR DR. ARRINGTON FOR ANYTHING. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN A PATIENT IN SERIOUS PLAIN. THIS IS SERIOUS. SUPPOSED PROFESSIONALS IN A POSITION TO HELP PATIENTS REFUSING TREATMENT & MAKING ME FEEL LIKE A FOOL TO ASK FOR HELP. THEY ARE IN THE WRONG PROFESSION. DON'T GO TO THEM IF YOU HAVE PAIN WITH YOUR COMPLAINT. THEY DON'T CARE.

Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by Ashley and Rachel at the front desk. They were very personable as we exchanged light banter back and forth as they got be checked in. I appreciated their transparency as they informed me that they were implementing a new electronic medical system software and that my visit would be a little longer than usual as the staff was still getting acclimated. As I went back with the staff, I couldn't even tell that they were on a new system as they seemed to pick it up with ease. The visit was so smooth. Dr. Parfenchuck and his PA (Which kills me because I cannot remember his name, but he was hilarious with his quick witty comments) made the visit a fun one, and made me feel pretty comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept it straight with me. I was in and out and the visit did not feel like how I usually feel when I visit any sort of doctor's office. This time was pleasant. This location is located in Evans, Ga. It is separate from the main hospital in Augusta, but what I gathered, this location is where the the doctors split time to come at least once a week away from the hospital to see patients. Dr. Parfenchuck and his staff have Thursday afternoons here.

Something definitely wrong with their patients scheduling system. After waiting for an hour and a…read morehalf, still no doctor and no explanation. Definitely a waste of time and a lack of consideration for their patients time.

DO NOT LET THEM REFER YOU HERE!!! The quality of care you will receive is nothing short of…read morenegligent. The only care and compassion I received was from the receptionist at the front desk. I was supposed to be treated as a patient by Ashley Sabb, FNP-C, but she completely mismanaged my care. She lacks empathy, has no bedside manner, lacks care and compassion for her patients, and will cause you to endure needless suffering. Your medical care should come from an advocate and not an adversary. I ended up needing to drive to Spine Center Atlanta to actually find a doctor associated with the practice who cared, and who actually treated my injuries. This was after being ignored while in debilitating pain for TWO MONTHS because I was waiting for Ms. Sabb's office to finally send an internal referral over to their own practice's surgeon for review. She actually had the audacity to ask me, "Is it really that bad?" When I did finally see a doctor, I was diagnosed with 5 herniated disks, a severely pinched nerve, and it is so bad that I required a discectomy. Dr. Chappuis asked, "What have they given you for pain?". I replied, "They gave me tizanidine and gabapentin.". To which he replied, "Yes, but what did they give you for the pain? This has got to be excruciating and I can see the tears in your eyes.". I instantly broke down and wept like a child because I started going to Spine Center Atlanta in Augusta in July of 2024 for help, and I did NOT get viewed as a person until October when I was seen by one of the surgeon's in Atlanta. It was the first time anyone helped me. No one deserves to be treated that way...NO ONE!!! I do not know why Ms. Sabb decided to go into medicine, but I can tell you why she should leave the profession. She doesn't see people in distress, nor take time to listen to their concerns, and could care less if she actually helps them get better. One day I hope she receives the same level of compassionate care she gives. It's only right.
