I take my mom here every three months to have her ankle pain evaluated and to also have her toenails trimmed. The staff is very friendly and patient. We've been here several times and have had no complaints at all. The way time to be seen is about 10 minutes on average. The waiting room is large with plenty of seating and is easy to maneuver a wheelchair through. There is also a clean restroom in the waiting area. I dinette recommend this office. read more

I do not recommend going here until they get more organized. I received a referral from my PCM in January and got a call from this dr to schedule my appointment in February. I filled out all of my paperwork and did pre-check in online for my appointment. The day before my appointment, I am called to reschedule because the doctor will be out of the office. I have to redo the online paperwork. On my rescheduled day, I show up early 30 minutes per their request. 15 minutes past my appointment time (yes, I waited for 45 minutes when they requested I show up early) I am told my referral paperwork is missing the authorization code so they cannot see me today. I waited six weeks for this appointment, received calls to schedule and reschedule my appointment from them, filled out paperwork online etc. and not once was I asked about my insurance or referral code. I could have easily sorted this out before their disorganization missed this omission on the form (that my doctor and insurance fill out) and I have now taken off time for two days of work and have yet to see a doctor. read more

I went to see Dr. Stapp because my primary care Dr thought I should since my sugar had been out of control for many years. I was first sent to a dermatologist for a spot on my leg. She decided that she wanted to biopsy another spot she saw. With great sadness I have to say the spot got very very infected. I was still waiting on my appointment with Dr. Stapp. The dermatologist kept saying my leg was not infected all ass it got much worse. Finally my appointment with Dr. Stapp, I had already called primary care doctor to get an antibiotic. When Dr Stapp saw my leg he was so very concerned, he really wanted me to be admitted with IV antibiotics. We chose to try and treat this together. He gave me very strong medicine and called in medicine to the specialty pharmacy. He checked on me while he was on vacation, and together we kicked butt getting it healed. Very disappointed .....had been a patient for many years but due to covid and illness of husband I had not seen Dr Anna in a little over 3 years.....also because I did not have a gout flare up during that time. in February 2023 I suffered a gout flare up and called to get an injection (I cannot take oral meds) I was told I would be treated as a new patient even though I was in severe pain. I finally saw Dr Anna one month later. Explained situation to him. He was very belligerent and told me I was no exception anymore than any other patients. He was not understanding, did not value me as a patient and had no compassion. He had a I don't care attitude and walked ou the exam room. Dr. Mickey Stapp is my mother's podiatrist. Back in the day, my mother dropped a can of dog food on her right foot, on her big toe. For years, the toenail grew sideways and was really thick. Until recent years when she began going to Dr. Mickey she was told that her big toe was infected. So Dr. Mickey would cut the toe nail down, shave down the thickness, and give her a topical prescription for that toenail. After a year or so of this, her toenail begin to grow regularly and just like all the rest of her toenails. Dr. Mickey's staff is always courteous and the wait time is never long. You are in and out the door within 15 minutes of arriving. Dr. Mickey is very competent at his job and treats his patients with a lot of TLC, and not T-boz, Lefteye(RIP), and Chili!!! read more

I visited the Augusta Foot & Ankle office because I was referred by my family practice doctor. Dr. Mickey Stapp saw me and discussed my bunion problem. I must say I was rather worried about what that would entail and how long I would be out of commission, but Dr. Stapp went over everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I had the surgery on one foot (the worse one) and, even though any surgery isn't fun, I have to say, it was so much better than I thought. I followed Dr. Stapp's instructions and felt better every single day. It was only a couple of days that I couldn't get up and walk around. It's been 2 months now after my surgery and I'm back to my regular exercises and activities. Dr. Stapp is really a great doctor and is more than willing to listen and answer your questions and address your concerns. Dr. Brian Bennett told me, a woman with osteoporosis, not to take calcium supplements. This is absolutely unacceptable! Instead, he told me anecdotes that he and his wife had their hair tested and found they were mineral-deficient, that I should buy "ionic trace minerals" from Concentrace. Dr. Bennett said that I have the bones of an 85-year old woman, and that my x-rays taken that day looked "washed out". This was alarming to me, and this is the usual quack tactic of scaring you into buying their nonsense product.
