It has average 711 prices and a less-than-average selection, but in an area with almost no 24-hour gas stations and convenience stores, it's very useful and, er, convenient. The gas prices here are usually a bit higher than at the cheaper places in the area, but the fact that you can literally roll down the hill with no gas all the way from my front door to the gas pumps here, means it's never going to get less than a three from me. Speaking of 3, this also used to be called 311, but then they realized that they don't make anyone feel like they are home again (except me).

We purchased my coffee, three cold drinks, and a variety of seven or eight snacks (chips, cookies, nuts, a Cliff Bar, etc.) for about $23. Not too bad in this day and age. The cashier who checked us out was very friendly. Checking out, she hand-typed in each item into an throw-back cash register, with the chunky keys that make that satisfying chunky-key-plunk-sound. And then when I paid with my card, the old-school credit card machine came complete with that old-school dial-up screechy sound to process the payment. For a place to grab reasonably priced convenient store drinks and snacks, this Convenient Food Mart was a good, and nostalgic experience for me! :-)

I was last here about 2 weeks ago to sneak an iced tea for myself (Upstate Farms) which I don't usually drink anymore, but once in awhile it's not the end of the world. The guy that works here is really nice and I like to come here for gas once in awhile because they are such nice people. Plus it's open around the clock and conveniently located in an area with not much open late at night. I live about 10 mins from here. What I like about this store, despite the iffy service, is that they sell the Upstate Farms Iced Tea (Lemon) that I used to be addicted to. Most places don't. And I really appreciate that, as it's amazing iced tea. Still, the gas here is pretty pricy so I can't give it a 5. But the excellent service and the iced tea ensure it scores a very healthy 4. Be very careful in this parking lot in the winter... it gets icy, and becomes like walking on a hockey rink.

Anyway, I stopped on my way home from ladies night last night after my sister drove my SUV down to fumes. My 15 gallon tank was so empty, it actually took 15.9 gallons of gas... Yikes! Saved in the nick of time! I made the huge mistake of looking up while I was pumping my gas and I saw some of the hugest sharpest looking spiders ever in huge webs all over the top of the pump and roof... I literally just got the willies remembering how menacing they looked (I have an irrational fear of spiders). But I'm glad they were there and not in my yard or around my house... Blech! If you're nuts like me, don't look up. Well, maybe you should because then you'll know that nothing is about to fall on your head. Or maybe it is... I was last here about a month ago. This petrol station is overpriced, but it's useful because it's near my house. It's also open late, which is nice. It's an average station. I'll drive right past Mobil 7-11 to get stuff from here just because I don't like 7-11. So I'll give it a 3.
