I also had to bring my dad along because he loves clams. The pizza was simple ingredients, but delicious! It had a garlic oil base with mozz and chopped clams. The ratios if all the ingredients were just right and the clams were not chewy or an issue with biting into the pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of the crust itself... It definitely wasn't bad, but was just normal, run of the mill with a small crust "grip" (the outside part).

Well, there was a Sunday Bills game a few weeks later so we decided to call ahead to place an order with the double pepperoni. We called on Saturday morning and paid over the phone and everything. Planned pickup around halftime so hubby could go pick it up. We got home and were severely disappointed. At that price point, we decided to call and complain (which is something we pretty much never do). They offered to make us a new one and we offered to bring back the bad one, but they said to keep it or toss it. And on the day of the Bills game he didn't see that guy. So, perhaps that's the difference maker. However, at $35-40 a pizza, we are NOT willing to deal with the inconsistent quality. This was extremely disappointing because hubby has not found a pizza place he likes in Hamburg since we moved here 7 years ago (our absolute favorite is the original Santora's in Depew, or Imperial or La Nova). Very good crust. Not too thick, not too thin. In fact the ratios of dough to sauce to cheese were perfect. I'm only deducting a star because I thought they were light on the amount of pepperoni. The quality of the pepperoni was good, just not enough of it. I know that everyone is charging a lot for pizza these days, but for the price, I'd just like a little more pepperoni.
