We wanted to post this review to let potential boat buyers know about our experience with John…read moreBibeau through Oyster Harbors Marina. We purchased our first boat over five years ago from an online ad on Yacht World and John answered the call. It was a 34 Silverton Convertible, and we knew nothing about boats. Turns out that boat was absolutely perfect for us! John was instrumental with help and answering every phone call with the hundred questions we had as new boat owners. If he was not able to answer the question, he had a contact who could. He personally helped us with everything from winterization and spring commissioning, elbows and risers to manifolds. He also installed a stereo and speaker system so we could enjoy music throughout our boat. Five years later and we are still enjoying the boat life. We expressed to John our wants in a newer and larger boat to accommodate more friends and family. He again answered the call and began what would turn into an exhausting search. We were on this search for a Silverton 392. John accompanied us on multiple trips to view potential boats, some as far as Maryland, some twenty-hour days!!! After countless trips and a failed sea trial, we found the boat of our dreams. Again, John was there to negotiate the best terms to purchase the boat. We then needed to get our new boat from Essex, CT to Danvers, MA. John, also being a licensed Captain, cleared his busy schedule to pilot our boat home. Now settled into Danvers, John has just been over to install a kick ass surround system that the entire marina will be envious of. :) So, as you can see, John is so much more than a boat broker. He is the total package to help anyone with all their boating needs. He treats all customers equally from $3,000.00 boats up through a million!! We are so fortunate that he answered our call five years ago. Thank you, John! We truly would not be enjoying where we are today without you!

If you are in Cape Cod, and you want to catch fish, book this guy immediately…read more We went for a morning, half day trip on a Tuesday, and we were taken out to do some fishing off of the boat while moving, followed by deep sea fishing. Is this a luxury fishing yacht? No, not at all. What it is, is a fishing boat with a paid of totally hands on, helpful guys, who will make sure you catch fish. Lots of fish. They take care off all of the details for you from setting up the lines to baiting it (until you feel like you want to do it yourself), and taking the fish off the line. For the moving fishing, I kid you not, I had a bite within 30 seconds of casting my line and brought up a bluefish. We caught a few, but not a ton of fish while moving. When we went to the deep sea fishing spots the captain knew, that was when we made our killing. It was rediculous. We seriously were getting bites on the lines within 2 minutes of casting, every time. Sure, we threw some back, but by the end of the trip, I think we had in the neighborhood of 30 keepers. Plus another 10-20 we threw back, and a pair of sharks for good measure. At the end of the trip, they filleted the 30 fish for us, washed, and bagged them (seperated out by type). Ball park, I would guess we took home about 30 pounds of fresh fish. The scrod (scrob?) was recommend we try just raw as sashimi... oh man... totally amazing. Never had fish like this, or that was literally moving a few short hours earlier. I really recommend these guys if you are looking for a great fishing experience.

Unfortunately our plans changed and we no longer could make the trip work. Based on the way Barry dealt with me I would recommend working with him. He will be first on my list for a charter fishing trip when we are back on the Cape.

So I went straight to the source and connected with Mike Morrison, who was not only professional and honest, but genuinely invested in making our family kayak dream happen. He even dropped a discount code like a true Cape Cod MVP. The experience? Unreal. We paddled out to a private beach only accessible by boat--and it was to die for. Calm waters, untouched shoreline, and the kind of peace that makes you forget your inbox exists. I still can't believe people get to do this regularly. It was truly memorable, and Rideaway made it seamless. They also offer sunset tours and paddle board rentals, which we're already eyeing for next time. The staff? Mostly young, but super informative, professional, and full of good vibes. Rideaway doesn't just rent gear--they curate moments. Boomsauce Scale B- basura (trash) BS basic (come on!
