I required a climber; someone who can cut down a tree without a bucket truck because they could not get into my yard. Daniel had the rope qualifications and the experience. The trees were about 60 feet high and were right next to my house, fence, shed and gazebo. I confirmed Daniel had liability insurance. Daniel was so professional he did not come close to damaging anything. He was truly amazing. He knew how to handle the ropes and did not require any other special equipment. I called them regarding this and they do not care and said that is expected to happen. the dead branches won't be picked up until few days later which is still on top of all my flowers which is going to die. (this was done on Wednesday and it took them 8 days later to pick up the dead branches which was next Thursday) i've also spoke with the estimater prior and asked him besides trimming the dead branches, if he could also cut higher up so you could see the house more and he said no problem and won't be any extra. after my tree was cut, it was not high enough and i've called them and the owner got on the phone and she told me there will be extra charges, however the estimater said it was fine. get your tree trimmed elsewhere!

We have an old Amur Maple in our yard and it was looking anemic last summer. This spring, before…read morethe tree leafed out, I called Pine to Palm and Chris took a sample of the branches. The sample came back with two fungal issues so the decision was to prune heavily. A quote was prepared but when the arborists got into the higher branches, they discovered much of the tree was actually dead. It is a tree in the neighbourhood of 70 - 80 years so we decided to take the tree back to bare main trunks and remove all of the canopy. This will leave us a great structure to build a treehouse for our young grandchildren. Although we lost the tree, it will be useful for a treehouse and still has a great shape to fill the corner of our yard. Great service, good value for our money, knowledgeable and willing to help us make a new plan in the loss of a tree. Thanks Chris and crew.

Unfortunately for me, I had contacted Maplesyardworks initially and was given a high quote. DLC Services was paid a third of it, while Maples got 2/3 for subcontracting. When confronted Maples owner told me how much he paid a sub was none of my business. My tree, my property my money, but none of my business. I'm not sure DLC knew I was being deceived, but they delivered on the work end. Decide on your own if my review can help you choose.
