Dave demonstrates this understanding through, first of all, outstanding communication. He is extremely responsive and upfront regarding next steps and potential costs after first listening very carefully to your computer issues/needs and then thoroughly assessing accordingly. My particular recent computer issue warranted a one-on-one session at my home, so that we could further clarify and better/more quickly resolve the problem. Throughout that entire time Dave clearly explained every move, provided extra tips and insights for the future, and so very patiently answered any questions I had, regardless of how basic and even welcomed new ones; In other words, he's a teacher, as well! Secondly, Dave shows a genuine interest in his clients, without being intrusive or gratuitous. This is a man whose business is not simply computers, but rather PEOPLE with computers. Finally, his rates are fair and reasonable. Bottom line: You can trust Dave, count on him to respond (regardless of how busy he is), and you will actually enjoy and learn from your interaction with him....all leading to the beginning of a new and beautiful, professional relationship!

I called and Zach was willing to see us right away. When I was on my way there I had an accident and fell down a flight of stairs, so needless to say I wasn't in a position to go meet Zach. He was wonderful and told me not to worry about it that he would be there for us when we were ready. He WAS!!! My search for a good computer repair shop almost ended in a nightmare. Fortunately, before things…read moretotally went south, I did an online search and found ComputeRx in Niskayuna. Mike Kanciruk has been in the repair business for more than 15 years. He's racked up great reviews which convinced me to give ComputeRx a try. Mike fixed my broken MacBook Pro in about a week. The laptop screen had cracked and I forgetfully let the warranty expire. Ugh! Mike charged me $75 for labor to install a new replacement screen which he had to order. It wasn't cheap. The whole thing ran me close to $600. I like Mike because he was upfront about costs and what needed to be done. Initially, I took my broken laptop to a repair shop near me where it just sat untouched for more than two weeks. The repair cost they finally quoted was between $100-$200 more than what ComputeRx actually charged, plus they wanted the money upfront. I had a bad feeling about that so I took my laptop back and brought it to ComputeRx instead. So glad I did. ComputeRx at 2215 Nott St. It shares an office with Nott Street Office, a shipping and copy business. They're few doors down from Lange's Pharmacy. .
