I cannot express the gratitude and absolute pleasure my husband and I had working with Pat during a very fast home buying process. Pat was referred to us by a close mutual friend we had and he worked seamlessly with our mortgage loan officer making sure we were on track and pace for everything we wanted in our first home. He's deeply knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate, set clear expectations of the whole process from start to finish, which is appreciated as VA and first time homebuyers. Pat accommodated so many bumps in the road to help us find our perfect home from scheduling the inspectors around our busy work schedules, various phone calls inquiring on listed properties, and keeping us updated on new properties that were about to hit the market. As soon as we had an offer accepted he effortlessly accommodated our busy work schedules getting all of our inspectors out at the same time, brought in top quality professionals to inspect the property, asked clear questions we as first time homebuyers would not have known to ask, and made sure to consistently follow up with any concerns we had regarding work the seller had completed. Pat, thank you again for your dedication and patience with all of my probably repetitive questions, constant back and forth deliberations, late night messages asking for more info on so many homes, and keeping the whole process light hearted and fun for us! read more

We were first time home buyers in uncharted territory. Intimidated by the whole process stepping in, John Paul quickly calmed our nerves. He guided us through the process of buying a new home and even gave a presentation that helped us better understand. At first we had our eye on a specific lot in a new constructed community, but did not initially get it due to someone putting a deposit a day ahead. We followed his guidance with putting a deposit on a similar property in the same phase in case they backed out. We were discouraged but had hope. Fortunately, the other party did in fact back out which meant we were next in line for the home we wanted. We couldn't be more happy for that opportunity. During the process, we had many questions, and each time JP was quick to respond. He was in constant contact with the builder in a respective way, and cleared up all mix-ups that arose. He stayed on top of the loan process, minimized troubles and made sure we closed on time. He lent a hand wherever we needed the help. JP was a true professional from the initial meeting to closing of escrow, keeping us thoroughly informed and process on track. His expert knowledge, timely communication, and genuine friendliness made buying a home a breeze. It would have otherwise been a mess without his help and guidance. With that being said, we could not be more pleased with the entire process. We are extremely grateful that we had the opportunity to work with John Paul and the cristal cellar team. I would highly recommend his services and expertise to anyone looking to purchase a home. We will surely be turning to him again in the future on our next property purchase. read more

I had the immense pleasure of working with Cristal Cellar's absolute finest, Patrick Alarcon. I was a first time home buyer and seller, Pat helped guide and navigate those waters with ease, he was with me every step of the way. There was alot to do to bring the house up to code but he had leading experts come and fix the place quickly and efficiently. We sold the house in under 2 weeks of it getting listed! I will look no further when it is time to buy a house again. Pat you are a legend in the making! Keep that same energy! #DLSEALD read more

Buying and selling a home at the same time can be such a stressful move to do but Cristal Cellar made the transition very smoothly. We worked with Thelma, JP, and Nate. They are very knowledgeable and always available to talk to if you have any questions. We would not have done it any other way! Highly recommend Cristal Cellar, its like having a family member whom you can trust especially when it comes to dealing with something that involves $$$. Pat was an all around joy to work with. From the very beginning he made us feel truly like family. I highly recommend Michelle!!! To be honest, I went through 5 other realtors over 4 years and she was the best!

I highly recommend Cristal Cellar. A friend that I trust very much recommended John Paul (JP) from Cristal Cellar. My wife and I started doing some research on a mortgage and homes for sale. We reached out to JP. We had an idea of what we thought we were looking for at first. JP prepared a list of homes that met our preferences. Unfortunately, we quickly learned that the homes that met our preferences, specifically the area we were looking for, were very old fixer uppers. JP and I had a long conversation and he helped my wife and I re-orient our preferences. We quickly decided to sacrifice location for floor layout, space, and modern design. JP then showed us a new community in Ontario that had some beautiful newly built homes. That next weekend my wife and I were touring the model homes and making a deposit. JP walked us through the entire process. The process can seem super overwhelming and requires a lot of your time. Luckily all we had to do was send our questions to JP. He would help get us responses quickly from the builder and from the mortgage company. We relied on his experience for lots of decisions that we did not know how to make. We love our new home! The experience was time consuming and tedious but JP the Cristal Cellar team helped us every step of the way! We highly recommend them! read more

Patrick is very great at communicating with all parties. He always knew what the next step was because he was in constant contact with the selling agents, title, lender, and builders. He really streamlined the process for us by updating us on where all the parties were at any given time. We simply communicated all through him, which made the process very simple for us. He was able to negotiate an exceptional deal by helping the seller pay for our moving expenses due to a delay caused on their end. Patrick brought valuable and timely insight as we got closer to the deadline. There were many moving parts in our scenario and Patrick ultimately helped us achieve our timeline goals and more. He provides great insights, both Pros & Cons for any decision that we made and ultimately talked us through our decision. Patrick also got creative when needed, which helped give us peace of mind. We knew that we could rely on him and his perspective when pressed to make a tough decision. We definitely will recommend Patrick to our friends and family as it was a true blessing to work with him. read more

JP came referred to us by our friend and realtor who had been friends and business associates with JP for years. We weren't yet ready to purchase a home, but we wanted to get there. We didn't know anything, like, literally nothing at all about how to buy property. Cristal Cellar has a vast library of videos explaining the most basic terms and then some fancier words related to the home buying process. JP conducted a one-on-one class with me and my husband in his office showing us step by step what to expect and how to figure out our budget. When we finally felt ready to pull the trigger, JP and his team managed the entire loan acquisition and the piles of paperwork that we sent their way. Admittedly, we were super disorganized with a bunch of confusing money habits, but he had nothing but patience and kindness for us. After we closed (under asking! Thanks, Will!), JP has continued to be available to us for ongoing questions regarding taxes or new loans. He hasn't gotten sick of us, yet! I recommend JP and Cristal Cellar whole-heartedly for anyone looking for real estate advice and performance. I would now consider JP a friend who I will continue to bug with money questions for as long as I have them. read more

Patrick was excellent throughout the home buying prices. My fiancé and I were first-time home buyers and had previously felt intimidated at the thought of a home purchase. Patrick helped make it seem like a total breeze and it was really just that. He was very clear, held our hands the whole way and was able to answer all of our questions- he made us feel so comfortable! Beyond that, his team at Cristal Cellar was very helpful throughout the loan process as well. Now for the home- Patrick got us in to our home extremely fast. I was keeping an eye out for homes to check out and once I found one that met our criteria (only 1!), Patrick took us but also had another house in mind for us to visit. On paper it didn't meet our exact criteria but he was positive about it and we had extra time so we went to see it. We absolutely loved the house right away and were in escrow two days later- I never would've even looked at the home if it were up to me! Here we are, now we have made the house a home and we feel so grateful every day that we made this decision. Without Patricks personal care and attention, I don't think we would've found the home we did in the timeframe we found it in. 10/10 recommend! I cannot say enough how excellent Patrick was and cannot recommend him enough to all the people we know who are in the market of home buying. read more

I don't always write reviews, but in this case I will. I went through two different Realtor before I found Evelyn. She was able find the perfect home for me and my family. Other realtors that I encountered didn't even ask the right questions what I was looking for. Evelyn did her homework and I couldn't express how thankful I am. As a first time home buyer. I had a lot of questions and concerns. She reassured me that everything will be fine and help me out throughout the process. Evelyn and her team, did a wonderful job of helping me getting my dream home. I would highly recommend Evelyn if anyone looking for a home. Also the house appraisal was low and she got it down. My wife and I worked with Patrick A and John Paul (JP) of Cristal Cellars, and our experience was unlike anything else. This was our first-time buying property, and all we heard from friends and family is to get ready for a bumpy road. So we tightened our seatbelt and expected to have a bunch of complicated forms to fill out, difficult discussions with our agents, uncertainties, confusion, and frustrations. What we experienced was the complete opposite. Patrick and JP walked us through the entire process from within our first conversation. They provided an easy-to-read check list of documents to collect as well as a timeline of what to expect down the road. Right after our first phone call, my wife and I already felt at ease because we saw the whole picture and knew where we were headed. From here, Patrick guided us to the new development we had our eyes on but showed us resale options along the way to ensure we were making the best decision for us. Along the way JP answered all our questions and concerns regarding our loan application and finances. Both took the time and approach to teach us every detail. The why, what, when, how of every term, rate, sentence in the documents. My wife and I truly learned a lot from the two of them, which ultimately made us more comfortable and confident with this life changing purchase. Looking back on the entire process, I can confidently say that this was such a wonderful experience because of the Patrick and JP. They made us feel like family the entire time, and their professionalism was superior. I would refer all my friends and family to Cristal Cellars, and truthfully look forward to working with them again in the future. read more

As first time home buyers in this current environment, we had a TON of questions. Jessica Quy was representing us as the purchasing agent and John Paul, and team, assisting with brokering our mortgage. We were able to close in 30 days with JP and team helping to keep us on track. Jessica and JP were always a call, email, or text, away with answers to questions, or solutions to problems we had. Everyone was extremely transparent in everything and I would expect nothing less. Over communication helped to relieve all our anxieties as first time home buyers. Thank you to ALL for making this experience a lot more manageable and easy!! read more

JP and Nate are the best! They guided us through the process of finding our first home in Long Beach. We gave them the criteria of what we were looking for, our budget and locations; mostly we looked through zillow and they were able to mediate the tours and info. Nate really worked with our schedule and was always in constant communication with us (phone, text, email). They answered all our questions promptly and checked in on us often. JP helped answer all our questions about financing and mortgage rates! Thanks to them, we're first time condominium owners and never been happier! Will save up money and buy again! read more

We bought an investment property with JP and Matt and it was a great experience. We met up with Matt to see a house in Sunset Beach. I told him specifically what we are looking for and the location that we wanted ( I remember telling him that we are asking for impossible because it was pretty specific with the location/ price) Guess what? Several weeks later, Matt found it for us! He texted me the listing and it was only an hour fresh on MLS, I told him we are gonna go drive by it the next day. There were about 5 other parties circling around with their cars as well. With a scene like this, you KNOW this property is HOT and that Matt did a great job in finding us a good deal. The very same day, we put our offer in. Moral of the story is if you can find a realtor who listens to your concerns and what you need, you will find it especially when time is in the essence with other competitors. So, thank you Matt for finding us this beach house!! JP, thank you so much for helping us throughout the transaction. Every transaction is unique and this one definitely has couple bumps along the way, but you helped to make the whole experience smoother. In addition, we wanted to thank you for your expertise on our loan. We cannot thank you enough for getting us a deal and will definitely continue to send referrals to your way! read more

Cristal Cellar helped sell our condo in Fullerton. We worked directly with JP, Maya, and Matt, but I'm sure there were more people on their team that worked on our sale behind the scenes. The entire process was a breeze all thanks to Cristal Cellar. Selling a property isn't easy and it was especially complicated for us considering COVID precautions, newborn baby, dogs, and schedule for a contingent sale. The second we reached out to Cristal Cellar about wanting to sell our condo, they went above and beyond. JP and his team were in contact with us the whole time so we always felt reassured during a process that can typically be stressful. They talked through the entire process with us, considered our specific needs and constraints, scheduled each of the steps in the home selling process, and executed everything with ZERO issues. Cristal Cellar advised us on how to prep our home for listing photos and showings. They even visited the property themselves to make sure it was photo and visitor ready. The listing photos, video, and marketing website turned out beautiful. Cristal Cellar worked with us to prepare a listing description and ensured we were happy with what was posted. They worked with us well to schedule listing photos, showings, inspections, repairs, and walk throughs. We were happy every step of the selling process, but especially impressed and satisfied with the negations. JP is definitely a pro and it showed. We trusted him every step of the way including establishing listing price; working with buyer agents to encourage multiple offers; and negotiating price, repairs, and terms. They were able to sell our condo at the price and with the terms we wanted. As mentioned, this entire process occurring during the COVID, and they made us feel reassured by providing gloves and shoe covers for all visitors, and efficient scheduling to limit the amount and frequency of visitors. We highly recommend Cristal Cellar and we will definitely be working with them in the future. read more

We worked with John Paul of Cristal Cellars. I do not normally write reviews but compelled to write one due to the great experience we had with John. The qualifying took a bit long due to complicated nature of our loan but John was patient and was willing to work with us every step of the way. John Paul and the Cristal Cellar team really are amazing at what they do! We worked with him in the past when we first purchased our house. Now that it was time to sell our home there was never a second thought of who to turn to when it came to selling our property. JP went above and beyond with an amazing listing that generated so much attention it resulted in a bidding war that put us in the winning seat. From start to completion, the process was so smooth I could not have pictured a better scenario. The professionalism and attention to detail are second to none. I am not one to give praise and compliments as you can tell by my yelp profile, but when someone leaves that great of an impression this was the least I could do. My family and I were first time home buyers. As any first time home buyer can attest to, the process of finding the perfect yet affordable home can be daunting, confusing, and overwhelming. I've known Patrick for years and knew that about two years ago he started his career as a real estate agent. Although young and early in his career, I witnessed Patrick's career as an agent explode, slowly at first but exponentially as of late. I knew first hand this was because of the work he's put into his craft. Despite vetting other agents, my family and I were convinced Patrick was the right person to guide us through this incredibly important process. Long story short, Patrick helped us buy our first house. From start to finish he was involved and his impact was evident. He answered all our questions (we had a lot) and explained things in ways we could understand (documents, laws, etc). He was organized and punctual, which are vital in such a time sensitive process. He had industry resources from companies and individuals he'd worked with in the past. He had the personality and knowledge to negotiate deals and prices in our best interest. He made sure we met all deadlines, requirements, inspections, etc. He was consistently available to us, morning or night, and was always patient with us throughout the entire process. He even had a congratulatory gift for us at the end of it all, a very nice touch. Patrick is fairly young and his career fairly new, but you wouldn't be able to tell that based on how he conducts himself and goes about his business. In the end, we bought the house of our dreams, within a budget that matched our means. Buying a home has been a dream for my family and it finally came true. We couldn't thank Patrick enough for his help, but I did want to write this so that hopefully more people can benefit from his services. Thanks Patrick, we truly appreciate all your help! read more

My family and I were in the market for our first single family home. Like any other person starting to think about such a large undertaking, you do a quick google search to start your process. Whether it be RedFin, Zillow, etc. These websites are great for a relatively generic search. However in my opinion, these are not enough to get into the very small, yet very significant details of buying a home. This is when I reached out to JP and Cristal Cellar. I have known JP for a long time, but I never knew him as a real estate agent. I can say I have no regrets working with him and his team. The value that you get from a real estate agent from Cristal Cellar and his team is extremely high. The valuable things that aren't typical in the "DIY" sites of home buying like Redfin and Zillow are interaction, curated searches done for you, and painting the entire story with regards to home buying. Since they are a one stop shop for mortgage services and real estate, the approach to home buying is very holistic. They walk through the process of your budget, desires, style, and location in a very structural manner (worksheets, questionnaires, etc.). The details are what make Cristal Cellar a very professional real estate agency. The details are what matter when you're buying a home! In all stages of the home buying process (offer, counter-offer, escrow, close), Cristal Cellar (JP in our case) was very diligent in follow-up communication. Even in the tough seller's market that I bought my home in, I believe we came away with a good deal given we had to edge out multiple offers. JP and Cristal Cellar even helped me cash out/refinance my condo AND find my current tenants that are currently renting out my condo. In summary, buying a home is a a tough process, but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone! Cristal Cellar does an amazing job fighting for you and doing what an agent is supposed to do, represent your best interests. Thanks to JP and Cristal Cellar, our family now owns an awesome home in an amazing neighborhood. I highly recommend you work with them for ANY of your real estate needs. Seriously, I've done it all (buy a house, lease your house, refinance, cash out refinance, etc,) with them with no regrets. So I can say with unwavering confidence that they can help with whatever you need. Thanks Cristal Cellar! read more

Excellent Service My husband met JP at his business & asked him questions about a refi. He was very knowledgeable & eager to help. Three words come to mind while working with Patrick during the process of buying our new home; forward thinking, resourceful, and patient. When an issue came up, he reached out to three or four of his contacts to fully understand the situation. He took the time to learn the details about the situation and how to best resolve it. This gave us full confidence knowing he knew how to manage the entire process. Patrick uses his resources to help simplify the issue and solve the problem with certainty. He reached out to other lenders and title companies for their expertise. He controlled the situation by initiating what he thought would be best to help us solve the issue. Most importantly, Patrick was patient in his process. He always knew when to stay patient or went to push to create a sense of urgency. I appreciate his insight of knowing how and when to use the tools in his tool bag. I highly recommend Patrick. Especially, if you want to work with a Realtor that truly cares. read more

Patrick A and the Cristal Cellar team comes in clutch once again! We've previously worked with them on purchasing our home in 2017, and needed their help to sell in 2020. Selling a house during covid times was definitely outside the norm, but Patrick made sure to take every safety precaution during the house showing and meetings. He helped us set the right price based on his expert analysis of the current market and other important factors. We were able to get in contract just after a few days of posting, as well as getting multiple competing offers. He also helped us out greatly with going about how to pick the right offer, and guided us with the things we needed to consider about the buyer and their circumstances.
