The service was friendly and only a corner booth for 5 or 6 to eat in as it's more of a take out. On the pricy side but worth it. Cheese on the crust was awesome. If you're a cheese lover, this pizzeria is a must-try! It's more of a takeout spot than a dine-in restaurant, but you can call ahead to place your order for pickup. The staff were really friendly and helpful in walking through the menu and answering any questions. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, and what made it unique was that the pepperoni was tucked underneath a generous layer of gooey, melted cheese; it was rich, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. The wings here are just as impressive as the pizza. We tried four flavours: hot, dill pickle, greek, and honey garlic. The standout favourites were definitely the dill pickle and the hot wings. We submitted a large order from this location for my birthday celebration and everyone who ate it got diarrhea and myself who was left with the remaining ended up violently vomiting as well. Their response was "we prioritize food safety and your well-being is of utmost importance to us". But that was clearly false as everyone who ate their pizza got sick. I have ordered from here many times. But tonight (Wednesday) must have been an off night for the restaurant. I asked for extra toppings and only got them on half of the pie. The dough was raw in the center. I will order from crispy crust again because it's usually good. Consistency of the product has got to be better or you'll lose customers. $35 for a 10" pizza that still has to be cooked at home is unacceptable. read more

Outstanding pizza! Made by a pizza lover, for a pizza lover would be how I would describe Crispy Crust Pizza and their menu. The owner makes his own Caesar and Greek salad dressings, and the salads are created with fresh vibrant vegetables. This guy knows tomatoes, and the pizza sauce and Greek salad are proof of that. Definitely worth checking out in Southwest Calgary! Oh, and the crust is of course noteworthy if you're a crust lover - but there's so much more on the menu to discover in this little gem of a pizzeria than the name alone. Toppings a little light for a $30 pizza. 1/2 no peppers or olives was ok, but the person who cut it didn't cut along the half. Weird and so we had to cut those 2 slices ourselves. Crispy Crust is so delicious that we drive all the way from Aspen to get our fix. For my geographically challenged friends, that's thirty minutes, each way, of navigating through drivers who can't merge properly on Glenmore Trail. Pizza is serious business. I mean, if you're comparing Crispy Crust to Pizza 73, with the latter getting the nod of approval, I can only assume you have no idea what you're talking about. Pizza 73 and Crispy Crust are not even playing the same sport, let alone in the same league. Well, you know, if pizza was a recreational activity. Which it's not. It's serious business. And Pizza 73 has no business here. The pizza is excellent but the garlicky, cheesy breadsticks are a real gift from the heavens. I swear there's crack* in the accompanying marinara sauce. Sometimes you might find me in the middle of the night sneaking a breadstick as a vessel for the sauce. (Because why else would there be a light inside the fridge?) In the morning I'll have to feign ignorance: "Oh no, honey, I have no idea what happened to all that sauce. It's probably those damn kids that we don't have yet." Anyway the pizza is always fresh, the sauce the way it should taste, real cheese that browns up nice and fresh vegetables. Real bacon, ham and pepperoni. I can't say there are a lot of good options for tasty pizza near me, just the regular chains. That is until I tried Crispy Crust. Even though a large is the same size as a medium in most places, and a bit more on the expensive side, the specialty veggie I had last night was AMAZING! It was crunchy and thick on the outside, with the cheese baked onto it. Soft but not doughy on the inside, and the sauce was well seasoned and not to sweet. Fairly average in my opinion. The pizza is similar to those late night 4 for 1 style of pizzas. The pepproni Is more on the side of a salami and the crust is not thinner or crispy at all. It reminds me of the frozen McCain pizzas texture of dougn....thick and dry...not so much crispy like there name says.
