The rep we spoke to earlier in the week instructed we stop into a store as soon as we got dad's death certificate. So we did. However, this was apparently not the process we were supposed to follow. After helping us get customer service on the line again, Heather, the store manager, hearing how our conversation was going with this second service rep, sat with us and helped walk us through everything. When we hung up for the second time we still didn't have the issue resolved, so she called them again with us. After an hour + in the store, my mom was finally good to go. Now, I've been a Verizon customer since I was 16 years old and I stay with them for their customer service, but don't think I have ever had someone so invested in making sure we had the help we needed. I seriously cannot say thank you enough. The kindness and compassion she showed my mom and I, especially sitting with us through two (in store) calls to customer service, after they told us that they couldn't help, was unparalleled. Thank you, again, Heather.

Most confusing place to do in-person business ever! The parking lot…read moreIs full, and so is the store. That is a a good thing. There is no rhyme or reason to check out! My wife walked over and picked out a phone case that she really wanted...and we stood and watched people for ten minutes. Couldn't figure out if we were supposed to check in or how to check out. There is no register or customer service...just a few folks with a Verizon polo engaged in pleasantries with random folks strewn around the store. How do I get myself into these things? Don't get me wrong--I LOVE brick and mortar. I won't be back here again unless I have no choice, though. They have lost the art of interacting with people, and their accessory inventory is very limited.

It's like every time I go in there they have a new selection of cases watch bands and a lot of other things... I have even seen new technology that helps you with other items that they sell. I used to be an android user and when I first switched to Apple products I was taken away by how much more they cost than an android device did, however I soon realized that they last a 100 times longer than any android I have ever purchased. Example, I would've had to repurchase at least 3 of the android phones in the time I had my first iPhone and to be honest I only did a trade in then because I liked the upgrade that came out that time better than what I had at the moment, other than that my phone was still going strong. Never going back to android ever again.

You would think if you purchase a new battery it would be charged ( at least I expected it to be) Now today I went because my apple watch would not pair with my phone, the person I got had no more knowledge about the issue than I did. So I just left and came home and deleted both phone and watch and restored and fixed the issue. I expected the 'genius' to have some answer about how to get the issue resolved without having to delete both devices and spend two hours getting them restored, but no such luck. I can't recommend using this store for service.

I worked with Cam and Manger Sam , it took the over 3 hours to get my numbers ported to the new carrier. Speaking with T-Mobile customer service /RSL was the absolute worse!!! TheY where unhelpful and even they disconnected calls , trying to place all burden on other teams (which in 3+ hours you can imagine we called everyone ! ) what was the amazing to see was all the teamwork, resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities!!! despite how I felt about T-Mobile's phone customer service they're in person service rock ! Thanks

Good to know next time to just walk in and get them to engage in conversation and then you get serviced while the poor suckers who got on the list rot in the corner. Bad look on a local level for a National brand. And no, we never got service and had to leave to keep other appointments. Total time spent 60 mins, nothing accomplished other than this post.

BEING AWESOME IN LIFE AFFECTS MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU KNOW, Episode #060492…read more Around three weeks ago I smashed the screen of my Galaxy S9+ into a corner of a cabinet in my attempt to catch the device as it slipped out of my hand and headed to the floor. The device's protective case does little to protect the screen from blunt force trauma when the screen itself receives a rather significant direct pinpoint impact with the corner of hard object. The device probably would have been fine if I had just let it hit the floor, but my wanna be ninja reflexes tried to stop it's decent and caused more damage in the save. needless to say, I failed my reflex save. The phone is two years old but it still serves me well and most likely last a few more years. Instead of getting a new phone, which I would have to pay for the cracked screen anyway, I chose to just get this one fixed. Stacy, and several folks we know, have had much success with a local place called the Cell Phone Doctor. (I recommend booking an appointment. They are quite busy. You can book an appointment through their Facebook page. They respond within a couple of hours) I booked my appointment as Fritz Ling. When I paid my bill I provided my full name. Upon hearing the name the owner stopped what he was doing, looked at me with a slightly tilted head, and asked, "Do you know Samantha Fotovich?" I smiled, then responded, "Just a little bit. She's my oldest niece of all five of my favorite nieces. Matter of fact, just this last November my Wife and I officiated her wedding as we made her and Austin promise to be exceptional to each other forever and be best friends for life." "She teaches my son, Rami. You tell her I said Hi and that Rami misses her very much." He then directed his attention towards the cashier and said, "Go ahead and give him the 10% family discount." P.S. The establishment REGULARLY wiped down the door, the door handle, credit card machine, and anything else which came in contact with human touch. I felt extremely safe waiting for my device to be repaired while reading me some Chuck Gannon.)
