Microcenter had my laptop for over two weeks and gave it back to me with a new screen. Once I got it back less than a day of use my laptop went completely dark. I took it back to Microcenter where the cashier let me know that they'll look at it again under the same ticket from when they had it. He also let me know that they ONLY replaced my screen- they did nothing for liquid. A week goes by- I have no text, email, nothing from micro center. You cannot reach the store at all- you have to go through multiple 800 numbers and be transferred. After finally speaking to someone they let me know I wasn't checked in correctly and they were sorry - less than an hour later I get a text that my motherboard fried due to liquid... The manager texts me telling my they'll transfer my data if able to for free- they then fight and charge me it the next day. I had to walk back inside and send the screenshots in order to get my data xfer for free... I will never be back.

To make a short story long, I was moving into my new house and the previous owners left a flat…read morescreen tv. I know that you are thinking, SCORE.....but no, the television did not work and I was stuck with disposing of it. You can not just throw a flat screen television away and most places charge $20 to $40 to dispose of them., but not this place. It was free. It was a bit difficult to find based off of the directions. Once I was able to find the drop off location, it was easy peasy. It was clearly marked, easy to pull into and the worker on duty unloaded the television from my truck. I did not have to lift a finger. Less than 2 minutes I was on my way. Very convenient and they accept washers/dryers, batteries, cell phones, monitors, computers, scanners, microwaves, scrap metal, dvd players and much more. It is nice because disposing of some of the stuff, such as batteries, is illegal and this give you a legal environmentally safe option to dispose of such items.

Avoid this shop. I brought my iPhone in for a new battery and the technician secretly swapped my…read moreoriginal battery for a cheap aftermarket clone. When I confronted him and explicitly asked if it was a genuine Apple battery, he lied to my face and said it was. However, the phone immediately flagged it with an 'Unknown Part' warning because it was a fake. Worse, during this sloppy work, he physically damaged my internal volume button flex cable--causing ghost screenshots and random Siri activations. When I returned, he tried to blame my 'motherboard' to avoid fixing it. I wasn't having it. He then changed his story and claimed my iPhone had all those issues when I first brought it in. I asked him: "Why would you have even tried fixing the battery if the phone was already broken like that?" He had no answer. I ended up embarrassing him in front of a lobby full of customers, and he backed down and refunded my credit card on the spot. Do not trust them. I had to buy a new iPhone because of this nightmare. I could have just gone to an Apple Authorized Dealer for $89, but this place charged me $129 just to break my phone!
