Asked to speak to a manager and was told unfortunately there was nothing they could do and that they would not honor anything the employee had quoted us. I don't understand what the problem is I was talked into getting a tablet at metro PCs store by the…read moreworker there she said it was free and all had to pay was 10 dollars for wifi . Well she didn't tell me how it all worked she opened a extra phone number up on my account that I already had and connected the tablet to my phone service plus another number and it wasn't 10 bucks I paid her 250 bucks cash for the tablet and they charged me 87 bucks a month for the extra number including the 55 bucks for my original number I've had for many years. So several times a month I call metro and beg them to turn that new number off and stop charging my account for something I don't want or need they say they are going to turn it off but they never do they charge me every month auto pay. I called a supervisor and he sat there scamming me like the others he wouldn't turn that 505 number off and close that account with iPad. This should be illegal making me pay for something that I don't want nor can I afford. But wait!! IT GETS BETTER I FIND OUT THAT THE TABLET IS FREE AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE PAID THAT GIRL 250 BUCKS. Cash money so I go back in there she no longer works there and the young girl that's there has absolutely no idea how to even turn the computer on I asked her how did you get this job she stood behind the counter and put make up on and ignored me trying to resolve this huge issue that's happening. And I asked for the owners phone number or a district manager somebody that knows something better the owner that's who I need to talk to she would not give me those numbers she would not tell me their name she wouldn't tell me anything and that's not the first time that's happened either they think that they're going to get in trouble if they give me the names and numbers they think they'll get reported so they tell me they don't know that is such BS I never heard of such crap. I need to know who owns this store and what's his phone number. Because I can't afford this crap they won't remove. I have to pay for medicine that's from the New Mexico cancer center because my insurance doesn't pay for all of it so now I have to pick and choose which medicine I'm going to take the first of month or which one I'm going to leave off because I can't afford both I need all of that medicine or I'm just not going to get well. If someone the owner of metro would cancel this dang account that hasn't been used since I got it last September 2025 it's never been used I don't want it they lied about the amount. And they won't remove it . If they would I could get all of my medicine I'm on a fixed income I'm a senior citizen and I. Disabled taking chemotherapy treatments and these jerks are giving me the run around. If I could just speak to the owner of the metro PCs where this was put on my account. I believe he could clear it up. There must be some sort of laws against this with disabled senior citizens nobody will give me the man's name or numbered I don't know what else to do.

The gentleman looked at it, checked his inventory and told me how much it would cost and how long. About 30 min. I thought the price ($45) was fair and was very happy with the situation. I went to lunch at ihop close by and returned about 45 min to an hour later and it was fixed. Looks great, works well. I was very happy with everything I experienced and would highly recommend Recompute.
