They had lots of tomato plants, peppers, cabbage, cukes and lettuce all reasonably priced. We passed on the budding flowers -- just too soon in the season, we think. But they had a lot of choices, so we'll be back in mid-May. We also like their indoor store; they have some fresh-grown tomatoes that are tasty and sell some very good locally grown canned and bottled products (try their apple sauce - really yummy). They have a large selection of young trees and plants you would expect to find. We purchased a medium monstera, a baby snake plant, and a small jade plant. The owners were both there and very friendly and each had a different knowledge/specialty set. The biggest surprise was finding a rare horsefly eating plant! I may have to go back and get him another time.

It was my first visit, and I was amazed at the thousands of varieties of stunningly colorful annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and more. Rows and Rows of beautiful flowers everywhere. We ended up buying four flats of pretty pink and purple perennials @ $2.95/flat. The Raspberry Parfait Dianthus will really beautify our mailbox. They also have a store with all sorts of home decor and furnishings. Note that Coward Farms is open during the year in three distinct time periods - Spring from May 1st - July 3rd, Fall from Sept. 1st - Oct. 31st and Christmas -starting the Friday after Thanksgiving.

There were a wide variety of colorful flowers, all so pretty. There is a small parking lot and great farm stand. They had drinks, candy, soaps, meats, produce, and more. I knew this place because last year my water would not clear and when I took water to this store Mary was so nice and helpful and she did not charge me for testing water and I purchased only what was needed and sure enough crystal clear water within a day. I sent them a message about the filter at 6:00am and before they even opened Mark let me know he could stop by and check out my filter that morning. He text me back saying it was not a big deal and he fixed it with no worries. He is also going to try and connect with me and show me some tips. I am beyond impressed with such great customer service, helpful, nice and just genuine. I wish all businesses ran like this one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WOULD BE FOOLISH NOT TO CALL THEM FIRST :)
