Extremely disappointing experience- ordered a holiday cactus for my mother and paid a little over $100 to ensure it arrived intact and on time. The plant that did arrive was tiny and had maybe 4 bulbs total- not at all worth the $60 price. I was shocked and disappointed and ended up having to go hunt for a replacement from a local garden center. Do not waste your money, this seems to be a common issue for folks.

Last. Fall I planted three peonies from White Flower Farm. One was Dr. Alexander Fleming. It has actually bloomed and this is its first year!! So happy.

I was utterly shocked to receive a $25.00 clematis that was not only dead and shriveled, but after I carefully unwrapped it, it was severed from the root. I insisted on a refund. The shipping took forever. I won't be ordering again, and I don't recommend you do either.

Disappointing experience. Ordered two white Echinacea Plants. They came with soil spilled throughout the box. The plants are lifeless and dried out. They will not survive. The plants are very tiny and one is less than half the size of the other plant. Not worth the cost. Should not have been mailed but shipped with FesEx or UPS.

This is a breathtakingly beautiful nursery and plant store! We went in the first week of August. There were a few things sold out, but since many many nurseries get the plants they sell from White Flower Farm, one can use a visit as a place to be inspired and and create plans for their own landscaping. I felt so full of joy walking through the display walkways. Dogs & picnicking are not permitted.

So root bound you can see the indentations of the container!

Purchased four perennials by mail, assuming an independent nursery would provide quality products that would be worth the premium price. Opening them immediately upon arrival I found they were incredibly root bound (see photo). Customer service suggested I use a razor to cut into the roots so they could be planted and hopefully survive, but no offer of refund or reduced price given the quality was sub-par. I have lots of experience w/ different mail order nurseries and have never seen quality this poor. Will not use them again.

I ordered a plant specifically for the color combination from white flower farm as a gift. Trusty rusty is suppose to be red and yellow. What I got was purple and green. So disappointed. I didn't expect it to look like the pictures but they could have at least gotten the colors correct. Tried to leave a review on their website but it doesn't look like you can. I wonder why. What a waste of $20 and 3 weeks of my time. Now I have to go find another plant. Will never order from white flower farms again nor will I recommend them. I just hope this review saves someone else a little time and money.

The Coleus and Petunias are useable, but not as young as I would have bought in person.

The quality of plants at White Flower Farm is a step above any other plant source that I have found. I highly recommend this company!

We visited the garden and shop when we traveled to CT. Beautiful gardens and the planted pot we purchased was perfect and reasonably priced.

Their vision turned the patio into a lounge; the al fresco dining section into a comfortable fire pit; and narrow driveway into an area that is easier to drive, turnaround, and park in. Their efforts enhanced the overall look and feel of my property, while enhancing the value. Friends commented it looked like a movie set and buyers were so taken by their work, the home sold in four days. My realtor received positive feedback on the backyard from everyone who viewed the property, and the buyer said one reason for their purchase was the backyard. I have used Everything Botanical for many years (both flower arrangements and garden design) and am looking forward to the next project they can work their magic on!

Unfortunately in the past two years she's assigned people who would not qualified. Two years ago I met with Abby and reviewed our plans in detail to be carried out. The only part that I was totally satisfied with what wonderful window boxes. But from there everything went down and in the past year and became a total disaster. Not only plans we discussed were not carried out, I had to call for routine maintenance and the people she sentwere totally incompetent (she acknowledged this). My flowerbeds became a jungle. When the person in charge came a second time after my complaint and I informed her that she has done a terrible job in the past Abby then informed me that the woman was hurt and insulted. She should never have been sent since she didn't know what was a weed. e. I finally terminated this arrangement. It is my belief since she was no longer taking as active a role and leaving the work to others this was the result. I would not recommend her and Everything Botanical. Abby and her husband are lovely people but fell down on the job.

I didn't understand what the problem was, so I called the sales person who came, took a look, and told me that they were fine. About five days later I called again because the trees were looking worse, and he told me he would come to examine the trees again. I had also sent him photos. He never came back. I called the office several times, only to be told the he was having personal problems and was absent from work. He later quit. They didn't offer to send someone in his place at the time. Later they told me that they were sorry I didn't like his customer service! Now the fourth tree is looking pretty sick. They told me I shouldn't have removed the now dead trees so they could have inspected them, funny in retrospect since no one was coming over anyway. The nursey has refused to do anything to compensate me. The 3 trees cost me $1,500. Although they did offer 25% off on anything else I purchased. As if they weren't having a sale anyway. Someone finally did take a look at the last remaining tree. She told me there was a drought and blamed me for not watering the tree more. I would avoid doing business with them. My salesperson is the second salesperson that has left in 6 months, Rick was great but he is gone. They don't stand behind their customer service or what they sell.

I spent most of September last year calling every nursery I could find looking for one and Rick at Young's at Three Rivers was the only person who said he could get me one - at the time the only ones available were in Oregon but we decided to wait for a spring delivery. I secured a tree with a deposit and come spring due to COVID shortages none were available. It took until August for Rick to locate one but he never gave up the search and updated me along the way. I was able to accompany him to the wholesaler to see the tree in person and it was just planted this morning by 3 very capable employees of Youngs who knew what they were doing It is wonderful having a Styrax occupying that location again and I owe it all to Rick and the staff at Youngs. Cannot say enough good words about the experience - Thank you so very much!

CONCEPT: The nursery and garden, Cricket Hill Garden, was one of the first nurseries in the U.S. to offer "true-to-name" Chinese tree peonies to home gardeners and landscape designers. Names such as "Tree Lotus on Icy Mountain" and "Red Cloud reflected in Snow" evoke the imagination and for me add to the charm of these peonies. EXPERIENCE: One of the most attractive features of Cricket Hill Garden is the ability to observe and gain insight about how to best support peony flourishing in northwest Connecticut. With decades of peony growing experience, the family has established nationally-recognized expertise. A wide range of blooming peonies as well as hard-to-find fruit trees can be picked up at the nursery at Cricket Hill Garden, while others can be ordered for fall shipment. A sense of what is available can be found on the Cricket Hill Garden's website (www.treepeony.com). TIPS: Check out the website's events page as well; the Furmans help educate others about optimal growing conditions. The Furman family welcome visitors to their flower garden Wednesday-Saturday, between 10 and 4. There, a variety of peonies, including tree, intersectional, and herbaceous, can be seen in bloom each spring. Reports of blooms can be found on the garden's Instagram account.
