We decided to change phone service to another provider after being with ATT for decades in our…read moreformer home. We weren't unhappy with the service but after moving we had poor internet connection and also wanted to change TV plans as our grandchildren outgrew stations we were getting. These two changes made ATT service more expensive than changing to a company that did provide all services in a bundle in our neighborhood. Additionally, waiting for service in an ATT store was extremely slow. Frustrating to wait 2 hrs for a 10 minute fix. It was frustrating to see staff sitting at tables with customers as they waited for phones to go through a 30 minute delay before the next step. Why staff can't help another customer while a phone is going through a time consuming process, is frustrating and poor service. The ATT store did everything in their power to prevent losing our business. They intentionally provided unclear and misleading information necessary to make the transition. Not only one employee, it was all employees. Finally, after days of frustration one of them mistakenly made a comment that provided a clue to the solution. The others jumped into the conversation trying to cover up the clue. But it was too late; we had the information we needed to drop ATT. We are pleased with the new services received and happy with our decision. An unexpected perk is that getting help with a simple problem is quickly taken care of by our new service provider.

With plans that are hard to beat and helpful customer service, I see no reason to switch. My only reason for not giving this location (and the company in general) 5 stars, comes from the recent change with making appointments. While that is great for many, a lot of times I have an issue that is a quick resolve. Without making appointments I have found myself waiting well over an HOUR for a solution that is less than 5 minutes. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or something else, but it's DEFINITELY a customer annoyance.

I went in for it the day it was published but never got it because he sold my reserved copy to someone else. He was always doing that kind of stuff to me. I got fed up and quit going.
