This happened April 2017, it's been six months and I finally got my iphone fixed. To be honest I'm super cheap! A screen repair is expensive! Over the past six months, I researched businesses that will repair a iPhone 6S along with the prices. The cost ranges from $90 to $130 for screen repairs. For starters, most businesses require an appointment. Some of the reviews on yelp are horrible. Naturally, I was hesitant to go anywhere for the past six months. Around 5 AM Saturday morning, I finally had enough of my cracked screen. I got on yelp and researched until 8 AM. I made my first call to Batteries Plus, the woman was very rude and short with me---Pass!!!! The Pineville location has bad reviews anyways. Next on my list Staymobile!!!!! At 9 AM rushed over to Staymobile to be the first in-line to drop off my iPhone. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Staymobile!! My phone looks awesome!!! After coming back the next day they told me that I would need another part to fix iPhone and that it would arrive in a few days. I had already put a $100 deposit down that they would not give me back or I already would have taken my business elsewhere. The store called me in to fix my iPhone and when I received it back, the back was a completely different color than I had before. Not only that but my blue tooth and GPS no longer worked. Not only that but they replaced the iPod screen but it no longer worked at all. Being highly upset I asked for a discount which one owner said okay to, and when I went to the other owner he said that was not his problem and still charged me the full amount. The store owner asked if he could have the iPod back because I was so upset so that he could make things right. Being that I live almost an hour away I waited for them to call me when the iPod was done and never heard back from them. I eventually was in the area to stop in the store and ask for my iPod back and the owner stated that the other owner does not work there anymore and he doesn't know where my iPod is. I was being helped by one of the most helpful and friendly employees I've experienced at this Target, and Peter approached and began watching the interaction intently in a way that felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and undermining, as if he did not trust her to do her job. The dynamic was hard to ignore and came across as both misogynistic and racially biased in the way he monitored and interacted during what should have been a completely normal customer service interaction. It was blatantly uncomfortable to witness. As someone who shops here regularly, this was extremely off-putting and disappointing. If this is how employees are treated in front of customers, it raises concerns about the work environment behind the scenes as well.
